**Grid Method Lab** ("we," "our," or "us") operates the **Grid Method** mobile application (the "App"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service.

## 1. Information Collection and Use
**We do not collect, store, or transmit any Personally Identifiable Information (PII)** such as your name, email address, phone number, or location data to our servers. The App is designed to function primarily offline.
### **Media and File Access (Local Processing Only)**
To provide the core functionality of the App (applying grid overlays to images), we require access to the images stored on your device.
* **Permission Requested:** `READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE` (or `READ_MEDIA_IMAGES` on Android 13+).
* **How it works:** When you select an image, the App processes it locally on your device's memory.
* **Data Handling:** The images you upload or edit are **never** uploaded to any external server or cloud service by us. They remain strictly on your device.
## 2. Advertising (Google AdMob)
While the App is currently free to use, we may display advertisements provided by **Google AdMob** to support development.
AdMob may collect and use certain data to serve personalized ads, including:
* **Advertising ID:** A unique ID on your device used for advertising.
* **Cookies and Usage Data:** To analyze ad performance and prevent fraud.
This data is collected directly by Google and is subject to Google's Privacy Policy. We do not have access to this data.

In the event of an error in the App, we may collect data and information (through third-party products like Google Play Services) on your phone called Log Data. This may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.
## 4. Cookies
The App itself does not use cookies explicitly. However, the App may use third-party code and libraries (like AdMob) that use "cookies" to collect information and improve their services. You have the option to either accept or refuse these cookies and know when a cookie is being sent to your device.

We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information (via ad services) and local file access. We strive to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. Our Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers.
