Privacy Policy for GridLock
Last Updated: July 11, 2026
This Privacy Policy governs the use of the mobile application GridLock
The Application is a minimalist, spatial grid-puzzle game designed to offer offline gameplay. Our primary goal is to provide a fun, safe, and secure experience without compromising your privacy.
1. Information Collection and Use
GridLock is designed with privacy-first principles.
No Personal Data Collection: The Application does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personally identifiable information (PII). This includes, but is not limited to, names, email addresses, phone numbers, physical locations, or device identifiers.
Completely Offline Operation: The Application does not request internet access permissions and does not connect to any external servers or third-party databases.
Local Data Storage: The Application saves your game progress, settings (sound/haptics toggle), and highest score locally on your device using Android’s standard secure storage mechanism (SharedPreferences). This data never leaves your device and is automatically removed if you uninstall the Application.
2. Third-Party Services
We do not integrate any third-party software development kits (SDKs), advertising networks, analytics platforms, or cloud storage solutions. Consequently, no third parties have access to your device or usage habits through this Application.
3. Permissions
The Application uses standard, non-sensitive Android APIs to enhance gameplay:
Haptic Feedback: Used to provide tactile confirmation when interacting with grid elements.
Audio Synthesis (ToneGenerator): Used to generate offline audio tones for in-game actions (placing blocks, clearing lines, game over states). No sensitive runtime permissions (such as camera, microphone, contacts, storage, or location) are requested or required.
4. Children’s Privacy
Because the Application does not collect any personal information, it is fully safe for players of all ages, including children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly solicit or collect data from children.
5. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes.
6. Contact Us
