Privacy Policy for Grid Hopper
Effective date: July 29, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Grid Hopper handles information when you install, open, and play the game. Grid Hopper is designed as a simple puzzle game and does not require you to create an account, submit personal details, or connect to an online profile.
By using Grid Hopper, you acknowledge the practices described below.
1. Information We Do Not Collect
Grid Hopper does not ask for or intentionally collect personally identifiable information. This includes your name, email address, telephone number, postal address, date of birth, payment information, photographs, contacts, or identification documents.
The game does not contain a registration system, user accounts, public profiles, messaging features, or social networking functions. You can play without providing any personal information.
We do not use Grid Hopper to track your activity across other applications, websites, or services.
2. Gameplay Information
Grid Hopper may store limited gameplay information locally on your device. This may include completed levels, unlocked stages, earned stars, settings, and other progress required for the game to function correctly.
This information remains on your device and is not sent to us. It is used only to remember your progress between gameplay sessions.
Removing the application, clearing its storage, resetting the device, or changing devices may permanently erase locally stored progress. We may not be able to recover lost progress because we do not maintain a remote copy.
3. Internet Access
Grid Hopper is intended to function without requiring you to submit information over the internet. The current version does not operate an online account service, multiplayer system, cloud-save system, or remote player database.
Your operating system, application store, device manufacturer, or network provider may independently process technical information when you download, install, update, or use an application. Those activities are controlled by the relevant provider and are not managed by Grid Hopper.
For example, Google Play may process information relating to downloads, installations, crashes, device compatibility, store activity, or purchases according to Google’s own terms and privacy practices.
4. Advertising and Analytics
The current version of Grid Hopper does not use advertising networks to display personalised advertisements.
We do not create advertising profiles, sell player information, or provide personal information to advertisers.
The current version also does not use third-party analytics tools to identify individual players or follow their behaviour across unrelated applications.
Should advertising, analytics, cloud saving, online purchases, or similar services be introduced in a future version, this Privacy Policy will be updated to explain what information is involved and how it is handled.
5. Permissions
Grid Hopper does not require access to sensitive content such as your camera, microphone, photographs, contacts, messages, precise location, call history, or stored documents for ordinary gameplay.
Some technical permissions may appear in the application package because they are included by the development platform or are required for compatibility with certain Android functions. Their presence does not mean that Grid Hopper collects the related personal information.
We do not intentionally access or upload sensitive device content.
6. Children’s Privacy
Grid Hopper does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the game does not require registration or the submission of personal details, players are not asked to provide their age or identity.
Parents and guardians should manage application downloads and device settings using the controls available through the operating system or application store.
7. Sharing and Selling Information
We do not sell, rent, trade, or disclose player information for commercial marketing purposes.
Because Grid Hopper does not intentionally collect personal information, there is normally no personal database to share with outside organisations.
Information may only be disclosed where legally required and where relevant information is actually available to us.
8. Data Security
Grid Hopper is designed to minimise privacy risk by avoiding unnecessary collection. No security system can guarantee absolute protection, but limiting the amount of information handled by the game reduces the possibility of personal information being exposed through the application.
You remain responsible for protecting your device, screen lock, operating-system account, and application-store credentials.
9. Changes to This Policy
Grid Hopper may be updated over time. This Privacy Policy may also change when features, technical requirements, or legal obligations change.
Any revised version will include a new effective date. Continued use of the game after an update means the revised policy applies to that version.
10. Contact
Questions about this Privacy Policy or Grid Hopper’s handling of information may be sent to the developer using the contact details displayed on the game’s official application-store listing.
