G1 Club Volleyball
We are excited for the 2023-2024 Club season at G1!
Teams will be formed for ages 10-12 and will have one to two teams per age level.
Number of teams will depend on participant interest and coaches available.
Teams are coached by G1 Staff or parent coaches.
10 and Under Division: Born on or after July 1st, 2013
11 and Under Division: Born on or after July 1st, 2012
12 and Under Division: Born on or after July 1st, 2011
Tryouts for the '23-24 Club season will be on Sunday, November 5th at Gretna Middle School in the 2-5pm range for 1 hour per age group. Specific times and details will be emailed and posted by November 1st.
Team members selected will be emailed Sunday evening after tryouts, and confirmation will be needed within 2 hours to confirm daughter's status on team.
Practices begin November 12th through December on Sundays and Tuesday evenings with a holiday break. Practices and first tournaments resume in January and conclude by the end of March. Teams will play in 4-5 local tournaments.
Cost is $400 per player to G1 VBC.Players will need to register for Great Plains (approximately $75) and pay for a uniform if needed ($25) . Team fees will be collected in December, these may be split into payments.
Prior to tryouts, we want to offer a couple open gyms so that girls can come in and touch a volleyball and do some basic training before tryouts! Times and dates are listed below and will be run by G1 Staff.
Tuesday, October 24rd at GMS: 10U (6-7pm), 11-12U (7-8pm)**
Sunday, October 29th at GMS: 10U (3-4pm), 11-12U (4-5pm)**
**Please note, the open gyms have a suggested $10 donation in order to pay the coaches for their time and effort that night. This is totally on the honor system and we will not be keeping track in any way, but we appreciate your support of our G1 coaches!
