I am an Assistant Professor and the Head of the Energy & Strategy Think Tank at WU Vienna University of Economics and Business.

Previously, I held externally funded positions at Johannes Kepler University Linz, WU Vienna University of Economics and Business, Hertie School, and Ludwig Maximilian University Munich as well as was a doctoral researcher at Technical University of Vienna. I was a visiting scholar at Columbia University, Copenhagen Business School, Harvard University, Johns Hopkins University, Ludwig Maximilian University Munich, Stanford University, and University of California, Berkeley.

I received my Dr. in Industrial Management from Technical University of Vienna. I also hold a MA in Sociology, a MSc in Business Administration, as well as a MA and a BA in Philosophy from University of Vienna. Moreover, I hold a BSc in Business, Economics, and Social Sciences from WU Vienna University of Economics and Business and a BA in Business Consultancy from University of Applied Sciences Wiener Neustadt.

I gained experience in consulting and business development at a US-American multinational IT company, a German multinational engineering company, the commercial section of an Austrian Embassy, and several Austrian consultancies specializing in SMEs.

I enjoy skiing, hiking, stand-up comedy, and the virtues of espresso.
