Divisions

Our library has three main divisions that work together to meet the needs of our patrons.

Our archival collections include photographs, manuscripts, oral histories, and other types of primary sources that our patrons can use for research.

Our collections librarian manages our collection of encyclopedias, reference books, monographs, journals, and edited volumes. Our library collection contains materials that relate to a broad array of topics in African American studies.

Our community liaison coordinates lectures and other events for our community. We welcome our patrons and their families into our space to enjoy educational and social events that connect to our collections and exhibits.
