Green Mountain Firearms Training LLC. provides firearms training to a variety of skill levels. We focus primarily on basic firearms safety and use, for those who are just coming into the world of shooting sports or are in need of simple firearms safety and marksmanship fundamental refreshing.   We support 2A by providing the necessary knowledge and verifying the necessary ability to demonstrate safe firearm practices at all levels.

GMFT Training options

One, Two and Three Basic Firearm Safety/Use

Learn the basics of firearm safety, use, cleaning and storage.
These three courses are low stress, slow moving Basic course for all ages. One Basic being the most basic with Two Basic and Three Basic slowly progressing toward the advanced course (All minors must be accompanied by a legal guardian) 
These courses are designed for:
Anyone that has never shot a firearm before or new to shooting. (One Basic)
Anyone interested in buying a firearm but has no idea where to start or what to buy. (One Basic)
Someone that just bought a new firearm and has little to no experience with that particular firearm. (One Basic)
An experienced shooter that hasn't shot for a period of time.  (Two Basic)
Anyone looking to attend more advanced firearms training in the future. (Three Basic)

 Course requirements:

200-300 rounds (frangible ammunition is preferred, and an auto loader is recommended)
Pistol cleaning kit
Pistol
3 Magazines (unless NA)
Hearing protection (electronic noise canceling earmuffs preferred)
Eye protection
Hydration source
Pen & small note pad





Advanced 

Apply the Three Basics of firearm safety/use and learn how to increase accuracy through repeatable stability and consistency.
This is a low stress, moderate paced, advanced course for anyone that has mastered the basics and is looking to advance their ability. (All minors must be accompanied by a legal guardian) 
This course is designed for:
Anyone that has successfully completed Three Basic firearms safety/use course.
Shooters looking to increase the accuracy of their shots.
Decreasing draw times from the holster.
Leaning how to deal with low level stress using a shot timer.
Learning and applying more advanced shooting techniques.

Course requirements:

250-350 rounds (frangible ammunition is preferred, and an auto loader is recommended)
Pistol cleaning kit
Pistol
3 Magazines (unless NA)
Flashlight (Mounted or unmounted) 
Holster
Belt
Hearing protection (electronic noise canceling earmuffs preferred)
Eye protection
Hydration source
Pen & small note pad 

Licensed Unarmed Professionals Becoming Armed- Initial Qualification

Learn the basic and advanced fundamentals of firearm safety/use. Learn how to increase accuracy, decrease shot split times, deal with higher levels of stress and shoot a qualifying score for Initial armed license.
This is a higher stress, moderate paced, advanced course for those looking to become licensed armed professionals.
This course is designed for:
Professionals looking to become licensed armed professionals.
Leaning basic firearm safety
learning the use of force continuum
Learning laws, regulation and liability
Learning marksmanship fundamentals
Working on shot accuracy.
Working on draw times from the holster.
Working on reloads.
Dealing with higher levels of stress.
Working on more advanced shooting techniques and positions.

Course prerequisites:
Basis firearms Safety Course from a certified instructor
Specialty addition request letter, from your current Suppervising Agency

Course requirements:

Licensed Armed Professionals- Requalification

Apply the basic and advanced fundamentals of firearm safety/use. Learn how to increase accuracy, decrease shot split times, deal with higher levels of stress and shoot a qualifing score for licence renewal.
This is a higher stress, moderate paced, advanced course for licensed professionals in need of requalification as a licensed armed professional.
This course is designed for:
Licensed armed professionals. 
Increasing shot accuracy.
Decreasing draw times from the holster.
Faster reloads.
Dealing with higher levels of stress.
Applying more advanced shooting techniques and positions.

Course prerequisites:
Basis firearms Safety Course from a certified instructor
Specialty addition request letter, from your current Supervising Agency
