$5 a month / no contracts
The class was originally offered through Greene County Parks and Recs, who after making no effort to secure an indoor facility for the program once winter came, dropped the "Karate in the Park" program like a hot potato after Sensei paid (out of pocket) for an indoor facility over winter. As you can guess, we are no longer associating with Greene County Parks and Recs.
Aikido is offered every Saturday morning (11am-12 noon). During the Spring and Summer months, classes are held outdoors.
During the winter months, we try to secure an indoor location
To participate, please contact us. We will have registration forms available at the class for you to fill out.
$5 a month
Uniforms are not required to participate, but are available for $20. No additional fees.
This program is great for:
Beginners who are interested in learning the basics of karate/martial arts
Home-school students in need of a verifiable participation in a physical education program
Those in need of exercise and physical activities
Anyone wanting to learn martial arts but cannot afford a commercial school
Here's what you get:
Sometimes, deer running across the dojo field
Here's what you don't get:
1. Long term expensive contract
2. Testing fees / belt fees / Organization fees
3. Left out when you are not a "black belt club" member
4. A roof when it rains
Registration forms will be available on site (Saturdays at 11am). Please arrive early to take care of the sign-up forms.
As we have just started classes, our dojo is presently comprised of youth students. We'd love for adult students to join as well, and if necessary (and enough interest is expressed) we'd be open to forming an adult only class as well.
