This project is done the SAME way as the Holiday GIF project. All you need to do is swap out your original source picture (instead of the ornament, you use a "monster" drawing or other sculptural creation photographed on a green backdrop).
Students choose a spooky background to layer behind the photo, and use the animation features in WeVideo to "glide" the monster across the screen.
At the end of this project, I put all of the GIFs together in a row and set it to spooky music for our final result!

The students' "monsters" were hand-sewn out of felt and other scrap fabric with embellishments glued on. I photographed them all on green construction paper, and put the image files into a shared Google Drive folder so that students could grab their file to import into their WeVideo project.
