This month, we’re honored to welcome Fr. Peter Raad for what promises to be a fascinating and deeply meaningful evening.
Fr. Peter’s story is unlike almost any priest you will meet. A husband, father, engineer, professor, entrepreneur—and now Catholic priest—he brings a rare perspective shaped by decades of marriage, family life, professional leadership, and ministry.
Ordained a Roman Catholic deacon in 2018 and later ordained a Maronite Catholic priest in 2023, Fr. Peter now serves as administrator of St. Sharbel Maronite Catholic Mission in Nashville, TN and Parochial Vicar at All Saints Catholic Church. As one of the few Catholic priests who is also a married man with children and grandchildren, he offers a unique understanding of the challenges men face in balancing faith, work, marriage, fatherhood, and spiritual leadership.
Before entering ministry, Fr. Peter spent nearly four decades at SMU as a professor of Mechanical Engineering and member of the Academy of Distinguished Teachers. He helped found major research initiatives, launched innovative academic programs, and co-founded a technology company—all while building a life centered on faith and family with his wife Jocelyne, to whom he has been married since 1982.
Now serving on the other side of the confessional, Fr. Peter brings wisdom shaped not only by theology, but by lived experience.
This is a night you won’t want to miss.
Come grab a beer, hear an extraordinary story and perspective, and spend time with other men striving to live their faith more intentionally.

The Great Men Program is for men who are committed to being better. Being better means being fully engaged with our faith, our marriage, our fatherhood, and our friendships.
The way we do this is by aspiring to "Walk in the Path of St. Joseph"
We invite all men to join in our mission for a powerfully engaged man in every home. Why? Because Great Men value full engagement with other great men. We have so much to learn from each other and so much to offer to the great men in our community who are husbands, fathers, friends, colleagues, and Christians.
The Great Men Program meets on the 4th Wednesday of every month from 7:30-8:45pm (come early or stay late). We hope to see you there.
- The Great Men Program
I once again want to thank you for a fantastic program that is actually helping us become better men in the eyes of God, our family, and friends. Most importantly, it is the one or two things that I am able to take away to try and make permanent change to become a better man in my own eyes. Last nights epiphany for me, (and I'm sure that others experience other things), is that thoughts or actions start as a foot path, then a trail, then a paved road, and then a superhighway. Once the superhighway is there, it's much harder to stop the traffic, i.e. thoughts or actions....Sure, it sounds simple, and logical, but in this fast paced, information overloaded world, you do not realize that the superhighway is there. Now it's time to demolish some superhighways... Thanks again, and God bless you.
