Today in this blog I wanted to share positive news; in only four days I will get to say, ‘I do’ to my best friend, soul mate and the only person I would want to spend 2020 with. The wedding and honeymoon planning all in the midst of COVID-19. What a story it will be!
It’s been a tough year, as many of you in the oil and gas industry know, as well as energy as a whole have experienced this half of 2020. I just want to remind everyone, as Americans and particularly in Wyoming (Wyomingites), we are resilient. My great-grandfather moved out to Northeastern Wyoming in the early 1900’s and started out being a cowboy. Throughout his life in Sheridan and Johnson Counties he would work as a county Road Supervisor, rancher, farmer and coal miner.
This last month I’ve had the opportunity to get back into Personal Training and coaching. It’s fun to adapt and ‘get back to the grind’ as some would say. Obviously, I haven’t been making the income as I would like to be. However, it has been fulfilling helping people achieve their fitness goals again and it gives me peace of mind to keep cold calling, cold emailing, project searching and knowing that staying optimistic is one of the only things you can control.
I know my wedding will be amazing and I will be surrounded by friends and family that support me and Lexie no matter what. Stay All In on your projects, jobs, family and friends - stay tough and resilient in these tough times.
Go Be Wyoming, Go Be Resilient

What does it mean to be from Wyoming? Does it mean you had to grow up on a ranch, work in a coal mine or in the oil booms? Due to unprecedented times, these last couple months have let a lot of us reflect and observe behaviors, values, and actions of our local communities. In this blog I will write about what I believe it means to be from Wyoming.
This month I will be celebrating my LLC’s first year as a company. Honestly, I am just celebrating that I did not go out of business! I have had great support from my family; mostly my fiancée who has had to plan a wedding during COVID and finish up her bachelor’s degree while still supporting me and my goals. I have learned a lot about starting my own company and the challenges that arise throughout its initial growth.
The first thing I learned right away when trying to step into a competitive field like Oil and Gas is you must take your shot when you see it. You can easily find yourself over planning and waiting for the ‘right time’ to take a risk. Even when you see the bold, clear writing on the wall that you should. You become fearful of what people may think about you and your decisions. Fear is a great indicator for growth within yourself.
Luckily, for me, my father has owned and operated his own LLC for 20 years. The best advice he gave me was, act. Go set up the LLC through the proper channels, State of Wyoming, Bank Account, website etc. When you act, when you go all in; there is no going back, you have committed to it. You can find yourself stuck in fear, in that limbo area of execution – and I honestly believe that many businesses do not get off the ground because people overthink, they let their fears hinder their actions. If you have an idea, Go Be All In.
Go Be Wyoming.
