Aaron's great-grand father Fred Powell Gray left his home of California in the early 1900's to Northeastern Wyoming where he got a job at a ranch in the Piney Creek area. Fred continually moved around the Bighorn Mountains, he made stops in Buffalo, Sheridan and the Nine Mile area. He would undertake numerous professions such as ranching, farming, coal mining (Gray Mine) and was elected as the Johnson County Road Supervisor.
Fred would raise eight children, the youngest being Aaron's grand father, Larry Gray. Larry owned and operated an RV park in Buffalo, WY for decades. Grand-Dad Larry would also have 4 children of his own; two boys and two girls. Aaron's father Zachary, being the second youngest in the group.
Zachary Gray grew up in Buffalo, graduating from the University of Wyoming. After starting a career in Silicon Valley with Hewlett Packard, Zachary would move back to Sheridan, WY to own and operate his own engineering and consulting firm.
Two of Zachary's siblings; Wayne and Janelle Gray also entrepreneurs, have owned and operated Landon's Greenhouse in Sheridan, WY for close to 20 years.
Aaron hopes to continue on the Gray Family entrepreneurial spirit in Northeastern Wyoming by operating Gray Land Services, LLC. You can find Aaron either coaching football or running the strength and conditioning program for the local high school, camping and fishing in the Bighorns or taking a walk with one of his four dogs.
