In each Gravix level, players control their character's movement using the joystick and can throw chains to pull other freely moving targets on the map by holding and rotating the chain throw button to preview the pulling direction, then releasing the button to release the chain. Opponent targets can also throw chains to pull their character. The map features various terrains, and pulling a target or the character themselves into them will result in the same effect: Lava Zone (death), Ice Zone (freezes for 3 seconds), Mud Zone (slows movement speed), and Whirlwind Zone (loss of movement control and spinning for 3 seconds). The player's objective is to eliminate enough targets within the time limit – that is, to pull enough targets into the Lava Zone. The game ends if the time runs out without completing the objective. During gameplay, you may encounter spike traps (characters hit by them will die), teleportation gates (teleporting from one gate to another), and triple grappling hooks (launching three grappling hooks simultaneously in the next turn). Characters who die (due to entering lava zones or hitting spike traps) will need to wait a short time to respawn. Additionally, you can use support skills such as double grappling hook length, summon a protective shield (one-time block of disadvantages such as being pulled, entering terrain, or spike traps), and a 5-second speed boost. The game consists of three difficulty levels, unlocked sequentially upon winning previous levels; later levels require a higher number of targets to eliminate. Ancient Stones and Flint Stones, awarded after completing levels, can be used to purchase additional skill uses in the Shop, upgrade your character (upgrading increases grappling hook length and basic speed), or unlock new skins.
