Team Dynamics

CAV-R has 2 founders and 3 admins that handle anything CAV related.

CAV-R is a sponsored team under the father company CAV (Cape Advanced Vehicles).

We have a mandatory SA league participation, team members of CAV-R should participate in any one SA league to represent CAV and support our local SA leagues.

This also ensures the team train together, work strategies and coaching skills ect. Allowing us to build a unified team.

We participate in a number of other sim series and events, coaching is available for these within our team as well.

We have scheduled skills coaching from our two top drivers and schedule team meetings to keep up to date on any happenings.

We enjoy fun races and practices and most nights in our own party chats having a great laugh and racing together.

We pride ourselves on the closeness and support of one another and always make ourselves available for one another.

Memorable Moments

A number of our group participate in real world oval track and time attack or work on race cars as a hobby/ passion.

Most of us all have very similar hobbies even model car builds and often share and admire the time that goes in

And of course the moment we signed and announced to the team CAV-R as the official sponsored Sim Racing Team for CAV😎

Aspirations / Goals

Our goals are to grow a solid team and participate on a global scale, being recognized globally is for sure a huge achievement. Being able to support and sponsor our own and other leagues is also a focus we have for the very near future and currently in development of that.

We strive to race fair, clean while still pushing the limits to be the best team in the leagues we participate in. Local and international

Advice (For Aspiring Drivers)

Find a good group of guys you can race with and have fun, don’t be afraid to ask questions and don’t be hesitant to take advice from others in the Sim Racing World.

Patience is key, Sim Racing is not for the short sighted.
