Kyo Kii... Main Jhuth Nahin Bolta (2001)
Kyo Kii... Main Jhuth Nahin Bolta (Because... I Don't Lie) is a Hindi comedy film inspired by the Hollywood film Liar Liar (1997). The film stars Govinda as Raj Malhotra, a lawyer who lies his way through marriage and career. His wife Sonam (Sushmita Sen) falls in love with him because of his honesty and when she finds out of his dishonesty she threatens to divorce him. Raj's son Aditya (Jibraan Khan) wishes that his father would stop lying for a day. The wish comes true and Raj finds himself unable to lie in court, at home, or anywhere else. This leads to hilarious situations as he tries to cope with the truth.

The film stars Sushmita Sen as Baby and Manisha Koirala as Maria, the con women; Govinda as Raju Patel, a taxi driver who falls for Baby; and Sushant Singh as Bobby Arora, a struggling actor who falls for Maria.

Govinda and Sushmita Sen are two talented actors who have entertained the audience with their comic timing and chemistry. However, their films together did not live up to the expectations of the critics and the audience. They could have done better with better scripts and direction.
