Senior Recognition Sunday

Ready or not, graduation is right around the corner! The Sherwood Student Ministry Staff is so excited for our seniors who will be graduating this year, and we want to honor and recognize this exceptional achievement. As a student ministry, we have multiple ways that we want to celebrate with you and your family that we hope you will be a part of!
SENIOR RECOGNITION IN THE MORNING SERVICE
April 30th, 2023, is senior recognition Sunday. On this day, we will recognize all of our graduating seniors during the 9:30 am worship service. Parents are encouraged to submit a photo of their graduating senior for a memorable handout that will be shared during the service and for our commemorative place-mat. Please provide us with some basic information about your student by completing our graduation portfolio.
GRADUATION LUNCHEON
On April 30th, the student ministry will be hosting our senior recognition luncheon in the Fellowship Center at 12:15 pm. The cost is $15 per meal (of course, our graduating seniors are free), and parents may pay online or at the door with either cash or check.

Graduation Photos
We ask that you submit several photos of your senior for multiple purposes. We need a couple of different types of pictures, as well. First, we need a "dressed-to-impress" photo of your student that we can use during our worship service and for our commemorative place-mat. This needs to be a high-quality photo of your student! It cannot have any watermarks and must be a high-quality photo (aka not a picture taken off of Facebook or Instagram, which are compressed).
Second, we want some goofy photos of your senior from years past. These can be photos of them as a baby, playing sports, or hanging out with their friends/family.
Please email all photos to luza@sherwoodbaptist.net. We will email you a confirmation when we have received your photos.
All photos must be submitted by March 26. Photos submitted after this date will not be included in our place-mat or used during our worship service.
