Privacy Policy for Noor Grade Import Assistant

Noor Grade Import Assistant is a Chrome extension designed to help authorized school staff import, review, match, and fill grades inside the Noor grade entry page.

1. Purpose of the Extension

The extension has one purpose: to assist authorized users with grade import and review inside Noor. It reads the student list already displayed in the user’s authorized Noor session, matches external grade records by student ID, shows a review table, and fills only confirmed matched grade fields.

The extension does not bypass Noor login, Noor permissions, official validation, or any submission requirements.

2. Data Processed by the Extension

Depending on the user’s actions, the extension may process:

- Student names displayed in Noor.

- Student IDs or similar student identifiers.

- Grade values imported from Excel, CSV, pasted tables, or an approved grading source.

- Course, class, section, or grade-entry page information visible to the authorized user.

This data is used only to perform grade matching, review, and confirmed filling inside Noor.

3. Data Collection and Sharing

Noor Grade Import Assistant does not sell, rent, or share user data with third parties.

The extension does not collect or transmit student data to the developer’s servers unless a future version clearly discloses such functionality and obtains any required consent. In the standard local workflow, grade data is processed on the user’s device for the purpose of matching and filling grades.

4. Authentication Information

The extension does not store Noor usernames, Noor passwords, or authentication credentials. Users must sign in to Noor through the official Noor system using their authorized accounts.

5. Storage

The extension may use Chrome storage to save local settings such as import preferences, column mappings, interface options, or temporary review state. It is not intended to permanently store student grades or Noor credentials.

6. Remote Code

The extension does not use remotely hosted JavaScript or WebAssembly code. All executable extension code is included in the submitted extension package.

7. Limited Use

The use of data by Noor Grade Import Assistant is limited to providing and improving its single purpose: helping authorized users import, review, match, and fill grades inside Noor.

The extension does not use or transfer user data for advertising, personalized ads, retargeting, credit eligibility, lending, or unrelated purposes.

8. User Responsibility

Users are responsible for ensuring that they are authorized to access Noor grade entry pages and for reviewing all grades before final submission. The extension is a productivity assistant and does not replace official review or approval procedures.

9. Independent Tool

Noor Grade Import Assistant is an independent productivity tool. It is not an official product of Noor or the Ministry of Education and is not endorsed by them.
