The Month of November
Honoring our Veteran's today and everyday! God Bless America
During the month of November, our class motto was " Gratitude is our Attitude". I guess it really worked, because our class donated 64 cans of gravy. These cans were donated to the Rutherford food pantry.
Say Hello to Sheldon!!
Sheldon arrived to our classroom on Friday, 11/29. He brought all of the students a little treat. Today, he was found hanging in a stocking. He also left treats in our Advent calendar. As a writing assignment, the children will be keeping a daily journal of his antics . We will keep you posted !!!
December 10,2018
Earlier today we could not find Sheldon. He left us a note saying "I'm like John Cena you can't see me!" We just continued with our day, and
after snack we had a five minute search party. We still could not find him!
December 10,2018
After the search party we did some work. My group and I were just doing guided reading. Then, I went up to Mrs. Besterci's desk to ask her a question. She asked me to get something from the pencil holder, so I did. When I opened the pencil holder I saw his hat! Mrs. Besterci and I started laughing!

The Taiga Biome
It was so fun to do this biome project with my friends Lucas and Dominick. We chose our forest animals. It included birds, bears, moose, and deer. Dominick had real twigs for the trees, and Lucas had fake grass from an Easter basket. We worked hard and we did well.
Finished Product
We were the first group finished, and we took a picture. Awesome picture Mrs.Besterci ! It was fun to type this.

Noah, James, and Alex's Rainforest Project
My group and I were very successful with our project. We had a science project that we started last week. Our class was split up into five groups of three, and we all made biomes! My group got the Rain forest biome. All the biotic and abiotic factors where placed in a shoe box. I got to bring in the animals and the green clay to support the grass! We also had to label everything and write if the biotic factors are producers, decomposers, or consumers .I think my group did a fantastic job.

A Wonderful Rainforest Biome!
The Tundra
This is our Tundra biome project. It took about two weeks to make. We had to label all of the biotic and abiotic factors. My two partners, Isabella and Daniel kept on trying to keep the caribou standing up. We had to use many supplies to complete this project. There was also a lot to do and make it. Plus, we had to make our own decomposer! Even though it took long to make, we hope it will boost our grades up.
The Close Up Tundra!
This is what our tundra looks like closer up. The ground is moss and cotton. The mushrooms are made from flower petals and white clay. The mountains are black clay, and the bears are stickers. There is definitely more space in the Tundra.
