This site is for the parents of 2018 Elphinstone Grads. It's run by the Parent Grad Executive to keep the parents, caregivers, and family of Grade 12 students informed of events and activities that are occurring throughout the year. AFTERGRAD INFO:

The Aftergrad event will take place following the ceremony on Tuesday, June 26 at the Gibsons community centre until 4:00am.

The grads will be transported to the centre by school van. During the evening there will be a large variety of entertainment, games, music, casino, silent auction, evening food, deserts and ending the night with breakfast and prizes.

This event is for Elphinstone grads only. They will be signed in at the door on arrival and once they are inside if they want to leave they are not allowed to return. Grads must be present in order to receive draw prizes.

All grads must arrange to be picked up at the end of the evening. Any misconduct during the evening (drinking, drugs, fighting) they will be asked to leave and parents called. We will arrange to have their bags with a change of clothes transported from the school and waiting for them at the centre.

PRIZES

We are looking for prize donation from parents and local businesses items such as small kitchen appliances, pots, pans, dishes, electronics, towels, camping gear, baskets and gift cards. We are still looking for a few volunteers to help with the event for the 1:00am – 5:00am shift.

It was great to see everyone who could make it to the Prom reception on Saturday night. It was a beautiful evening and great event. We will let you know when we receive the photos.

A special thanks to the Grad Student Prom Committee and Trina Giesbrecht for doing such a great job organizing all the details leading up to the event and for all the parents who came out to help with set up and clean up.

Spring Cleaning Dry Grad Fundraiser

The Grads have decided to organize one more fundraiser event for this Saturday May 19th. Details on the event can be found at: https://sites.google.com/view/elphi-dry-grad-fundraiser/home

We are in need of a few parent volunteers to help throughout the day. We have a few spots from 9AM-1PM and many spots from 1PM-5PM. If you can volunteer please contact Roxanne at elphigrad2018@gmail.com.

Also if anyone will be taking a trip to Costco this week, please let us know. There may be a few things that we need.

Tuesday, June 19 - Grade 11 students set up for grad ceremony

Friday, June 22, 1pm - Grad ceremony rehearsal

Monday, June 25 - Rehearsal make-up for those unable to attend Friday

Tuesday, June 26 - Grad ceremony (Dry Grad Event directly following the Ceremony)
