Hello! I am a final-year Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Analytics and Operations (DAO) at NUS Business School, supervised by Dr. Sidika Candogan. My research lies at the intersection of operations management and platform business models, with a focus on sustainability and equity in platform systems. Broadly, I study how design choices in operational systems, such as financial incentives and regulation interventions, shape user behavior and system performance. A central goal of my work is to understand how these design features impact long-run business sustainability while also promoting broader societal outcomes, including environmental sustainability, equity, and access.
Methodologically, I employ both empirical analysis and analytical modeling, examining financial incentives and overproduction in food-rescue platforms, equity-oriented policies in micromobility sharing, and worker job selection behavior in gig economy platforms.
Before joining NUS, I earned my bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Wisconsin–Madison (Go Badgers!) (2018) and my master’s degree in Operations Research from the Georgia Institute of Technology (2020). I am on the job market in 2026/2027 🍀
