Business & Community Partnerships
My lab redesign demonstrates my understanding of building and maintaining effective business and community partnerships. Specifically, the lab redesign focuses on highlighting how partnerships were effectively utilized to enhance student learning and program effectiveness. This is shown through the relationship developed with SCC to explore what is best for the new and existing space proposed at Lincoln East High School. In addition, my lab redesign shows how partnerships provide students with valuable opportunities for career exploitation, work-based learning, and post-secondary transitions. By partnering with a community college, students can learn valuable information regarding future careers and jobs. I will apply these ideas to my STS program by building valuable relationships with numerous partners for the advancement of the program
My Advisory Committee Timeline shows my understanding of building and maintaining effective business and community partnerships. Specifically, the timeline shows how partnerships contribute to the long-term sustainability of my CTE program by being formally put into position within the committee, ensuring active and lengthy participation. Secondly, the project involves establishing partnerships with a diverse range of stakeholders, including employers, community organizations, and other educational institutions, as shown in part 1 of year two. By creating this advisory board, students will be provided with valuable opportunities for career exploration, work-based learning, and postsecondary transitions. I will apply these ideas to my STS program by following my timeline and working hard to assemble a committee that helps improve the STS program.
