Data & Program Improvement
The Academic Assessment Report from my 206 class demonstrates my readiness to implement Data and Program Improvement. Specifically, this artifact shows I am able to use data-driven decision making by collecting and analyzing assessment results to guide instructional adjustments and improve student learning outcomes. In addition, it shows I am able to conduct reliable data collection and analysis through clear tracking of student performance on key objectives, providing insight into program effectiveness. The report also supports equity analysis by breaking down scores and identifying trends that may indicate achievement gaps among different groups of students. Finally, this artifact reflects effective stakeholder communication, as the data is organized in a format that can be easily shared with students, parents, and other program stakeholders to highlight strengths and areas for improvement. I will continue using these practices in my STS program for ongoing evaluation and refinement.
The Husker High School Day Feedback Report on my teaching demonstrates my readiness to implement Data and Program Improvement. Specifically, this artifact shows I am able to use data-driven decision making by reflecting on formal feedback from instructional observations and using that data to adjust lesson delivery, engagement strategies, and classroom management. In addition, it shows I am able to collect and analyze valid data by reviewing detailed evaluations on instructional effectiveness and areas for growth. This process also supports equity analysis, as the feedback highlights whether my teaching strategies meet the diverse needs of all learners and suggests improvements where gaps may exist. The report further reflects stakeholder communication, as the feedback process involves open dialogue between myself, administrators, and cooperating teachers to ensure instructional alignment and student success. I will continue applying these insights in my STS program to support continuous improvement and professional growth.
