Thank you for choosing to be part of our community at Grace Grid ("we," "us," or "our"). We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy.
1. Information We Collect Grace Grid is designed to be a private, offline-first journaling and daily devotional experience. We do not require you to create an account to use the core features of the app. All your diary entries and puzzle progress are stored locally on your device (via IndexedDB) and are never transmitted to our servers.
We do, however, collect information in the following specific scenarios:
Display Name: If you choose to support our mission through an in-app purchase (Patron tier) and opt to have your name displayed on our public "Wall of Gratitude", we collect a name of your choosing (max 25 characters). This name is sent to our secure database strictly for display purposes.
Automatically Collected Data: We use third-party services, specifically Google Analytics for Firebase and RevenueCat, which automatically collect anonymous device identifiers (such as Android Advertising IDs), basic app usage data (e.g., app opens, features used), and in-app purchase events.
2. How We Use Your Information
User-Submitted Content: Your submitted Display Name is manually reviewed by our team to ensure a safe environment before being published in the app.
Analytics & Performance: We use the automatically collected data to analyze user trends, improve app performance, troubleshoot issues, and measure the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns. This data helps us understand how users interact with Grace Grid without identifying you personally.
3. Sharing Your Information We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We only share necessary, anonymous data with our trusted service providers to operate and analyze the app:
Google Play & RevenueCat: Securely process and manage your in-app purchases and subscriptions. We do not have access to your credit card information or billing details.
Google Analytics for Firebase: Helps us track app usage and ad conversions. You can reset your device's Advertising ID or opt out of personalized tracking at any time via your Android device settings (Settings > Google > Ads).
4. Data Retention and Deletion If you have submitted a Display Name and wish to have it removed from the Wall of Gratitude, you can request data deletion at any time by contacting us at gracegrid.app@gmail.com. We will remove your information within 48 hours.
