Elizabeth “Betty” Ann Bengelink, age 81, of Grandville, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 17, 2025. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 22 years, Larry Bengelink; stepchildren, Robert and Heidi Bengelink, Richard and Jennifer Bengelink; ten step grandchildren, seven step great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers, Joan and Don Roobol, Don Ezinga, Bob Ezinga, Bea Van Eerden, Nancy Ezinga, John and Phyllis Vander Ploeg, Ruth and Al Cooley; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Ronald and Ann Bengelink, Kennth and Yvonne Bengelink; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 30, at 2 p.m. at South Grandville Church, 4130 Wilson Ave SW, Grandville, with Pastor Dale Fopma officiating. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to South Grandville Church Baby Supply Pantry.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 30, at Messiah Lutheran Church, 2727 5 Mile Rd NE, Grand Rapids, MI. Relatives and friends may meet the family one hour prior to the funeral on Friday, at church, from 10-11 a.m.

Rinzema, Julie 4/14/1941 - 4/7/2022 Julie Rinzema, age 80, of Hudsonville, passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus on Thursday, April 7, 2022. Her pride and joy was her family who will cherish her memory: her husband of 61 years, Robert; children, Scott and Sherri Rinzema, Barb and Den VanKoevering, Tammi and Steve VanderMolen, Lynn and Bob Dornbush; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Gerri and Ray Breen, Joan and Paul Kremers, Wilma Poelman, Ann Keller. Her beloved dog, Nika. She was preceded in death by her brother, Bill Hans. Julie was an animal lover and passed that love on to her family. She enjoyed sports, boating, and many other outdoor activities. She was passionate about the time she spent driving a school bus for Unity Christian. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 11, 2022, at 11 am at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Pastor Brad Langstraat officiating.
