Purpose of this policy. This Privacy Policy explains what information may be processed when you use Live GPS Earth Satellite Map, why it is processed, how third-party service providers may process it, and the choices available to you.
· The application does not require an account or sign-in.
· The application does not collect your name, email address, contacts, SMS/call content, calendar, health data, or payment card details.
· The application does not request microphone permission and does not record audio. Voice guidance is produced by the text-to-speech engine already installed on your device.
· Location is used for GPS navigation, maps, routes, nearby places, weather and related location-based features.
· During an active navigation session, a foreground location service may continue navigation when the screen is off or the app is not currently visible.
· The application does not request ACCESS_BACKGROUND_LOCATION.
· The GPS Camera uses the camera only when you open the camera feature. Captured photos are saved to your device and are not uploaded to our servers by the app.
· Advertising, analytics, crash reporting, attribution, notifications, maps, weather and other online features may involve third-party providers.
· Google Play processes payments. The application does not collect or store your card or bank credentials.
1. Information We Collect or Process:
1.1 Location Information:
The application uses location information to provide core navigation and map-related features. Depending on the feature being used, this may include:
· Approximate location obtained through network-based location services.
· Precise GPS location.
· Your current location while navigation or map features are in use.
· Location information needed to calculate, update, or recalculate routes and provide turn-by-turn directions.
· Location information used to show nearby places, weather for your area, and other location-based information.
You can grant, restrict, or revoke location permission at any time through your Android device settings.
1.2 Device and Technical Information:
We and our service providers may process technical and diagnostic information such as:
· Device manufacturer and model.
· Android operating system version.
· Application version.
· Network connection type, connectivity status and Wi-Fi connection state.
· IP address and basic device status information.
· Advertising identifier, where permitted.
· Application instance identifiers generated by services such as Firebase (for example, a Firebase Installation ID) used for analytics, remote configuration and push notification delivery.
· App interaction and usage events.
· Diagnostic, performance, crash and error information.
This information may be used for compatibility, security, analytics, performance improvement, fraud prevention, troubleshooting and service operation.
1.3 Camera Information - GPS Camera Feature:
The application includes a GPS Camera feature that can capture photographs with location-related information such as coordinates, place name, date and time displayed or stamped on the image.
· Camera access is requested only when you open and use the GPS Camera feature.
· The camera is not intended to operate continuously, silently, or in the background.
· Photos you capture are saved to your device gallery.
· The application does not upload, transmit, collect, or store those captured photographs on our own server.
· Images may contain location information, so consider this before sharing them with others.
· You can revoke camera permission through Android settings.
1.4 Information Stored Locally on Your Device:
To provide application functionality, certain information may be stored locally on your device, including:
· Saved and recent place searches.
· Saved routes and route history.
· Saved home, office or favourite locations.
· Application settings and preferences, including map, voice, unit and language selections.
· Purchase or subscription status used to unlock premium features.
Information stored locally remains on your device and is not uploaded to us as a local database. You can remove it by deleting the relevant items in the app, clearing app data through Android settings, or uninstalling the application.
Automatic backup of application data is disabled. Application data stored on your device, including saved routes, favourites, searches, settings and purchase status, is not backed up to Google Drive or transferred through Android backup or device-to-device transfer by this application.
1.5 Advertising Information:
The application may use advertising technologies, including Google Advertising ID and supported Android advertising services. These technologies may support advertising delivery, measurement, campaign attribution, fraud prevention, analytics and advertising relevance.
Depending on your device settings, applicable law and consent requirements, advertising may be personalised or non-personalised. You can manage advertising-related settings through Android settings and available privacy controls.
1.6 Analytics, Crash and Performance Information:
Analytics, crash-reporting and performance services may process information such as app version, device model, Android version, crash and stack-trace information, diagnostic information, app events, interactions and performance data. This helps us understand application usage, identify crashes and improve stability, performance and user experience.
1.7 Information We Do Not Collect:
The application does not require registration or sign-in. Through the application we do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contact list, SMS or call content, call logs, calendar, health or fitness data, biometric data, documents or files from your device, or payment card details.
The application does not request microphone permission and does not record or transmit audio. The application does not read your device photo library or media files other than the photographs created by its own GPS Camera feature. The application does not read your phone number, IMEI or SIM serial number; it may read only the two-letter SIM or network country code to show search results from your country.
2. How We Use Information:
· Provide GPS navigation, voice guidance and route directions.
· Display maps, satellite imagery and your current location.
· Calculate, update and recalculate routes.
· Provide nearby places, search results and location-based features.
· Provide navigation information such as distance, ETA and speed.
· Maintain navigation during an active navigation session.
· Provide weather, earthquake, map and related public information where available.
· Provide GPS Camera, area measurement, distance measurement and related tools.
· Provide compass, traffic view, famous destinations, street-level imagery and speedometer features.
· Offer application updates and download optional language packs through Google Play.
· Improve application performance, reliability and functionality.
· Detect, diagnose and fix crashes and technical problems.
· Understand application usage and improve features.
· Deliver and measure advertisements.
· Measure advertising campaigns and install attribution.
· Provide push notifications when you enable them.
· Process in-app purchases and subscriptions and unlock premium features.
· Prevent fraud, abuse and unauthorised activity.
· Comply with applicable legal requirements.
3. Foreground Service Location During Navigation:
GPS navigation is a core feature of the application. When you start an active navigation session, the application may use an Android foreground service to continue receiving location updates so that navigation and route guidance continue working.
· A persistent notification is shown while the foreground navigation service is running.
· Navigation may continue when the screen is turned off or another application is temporarily displayed.
· The application does not request ACCESS_BACKGROUND_LOCATION.
· The application does not intentionally track your location outside an active navigation session.
· Foreground location access is used for the navigation session you start and stops when navigation ends.
· You can stop navigation from within the application or from the navigation notification.
4. Internet, Network and Wi-Fi Access:
Internet access is required for online maps and satellite imagery, route calculation, navigation updates, place search, nearby places, weather information, street-level or map imagery, earthquake data, advertising, analytics, crash reporting, remote configuration and other online application services.
The application may also check network and Wi-Fi connection status to determine whether online services are available and to adapt its behaviour when offline.
If you allow notifications, the application may send navigation or route information, application updates, service-related information, reminders, feature messages and, where applicable, promotional or advertising-related messages.
You can disable notifications at any time through Android device settings.
6. Google Play Billing and Purchases:
The application may offer subscriptions or one-time in-app purchases, including options to remove advertisements or unlock premium features.
· Payments are processed by Google Play.
· We do not collect, receive or store your credit card, debit card, bank account or other payment credentials.
· We may receive limited purchase-related information needed to verify purchases, manage subscription status, restore eligible purchases, provide premium features and remove advertisements where applicable.
· You can view, manage or cancel subscriptions through your Google Play account.
6.1 Google Play Application Updates and Feature Downloads:
The application uses Google Play services to check for and offer application updates, and to download optional language packs when you select a language that is not already installed on your device. These requests are handled by Google Play using your device and application information and are subject to Google's privacy policy. The application does not receive your Google account credentials through this process.
7. Advertising and Third-Party Advertising Services:
The free version of the application may display advertisements provided by third-party advertising partners. Depending on the service and applicable settings, these providers may process advertising ID, device information, IP address, app interaction information, campaign information, general location information where permitted, and diagnostic information.
Advertising may be personalised or non-personalised depending on your location, device settings, consent and applicable law. Third-party advertising providers process information according to their own privacy policies.
7.1 Advertising Mediation and Bidding Partners:
Advertisements may be delivered through Google AdMob, which may also request bids from mediation partners integrated into the application. The application currently integrates the Meta Audience Network (Meta Platforms, Inc.) as a bidding partner through the AdMob mediation adapter.
When an advertisement is requested, participating advertising partners may process information such as the advertising identifier, device model, operating system version, application version, IP address, general or coarse location where permitted, network information, advertising interaction events and fraud-prevention signals. Each advertising partner processes this information under its own privacy policy.
The application displays advertisements in formats that may include app open, banner, interstitial and native advertisements. Purchasing an available ad-free option removes advertising from the application.
8. Advertising Attribution and Install Referral:
The application may use advertising attribution and install-referral technologies to understand whether an installation or app interaction resulted from an advertising campaign or referral source. This may help measure campaign performance, understand user acquisition, improve marketing and detect invalid or fraudulent traffic.
9. Google Advertising ID and Android Advertising Services:
The application may use Google Advertising ID and supported Android advertising services for advertising, analytics and attribution. Depending on the Android version and integrated services, this may include advertising identifiers, attribution signals and advertising topics or interest-related signals.
Availability and processing may depend on Android version, device settings, applicable consent requirements and the services integrated into the application. Users can manage Advertising ID and ad-personalisation controls through Android device settings.
9.1 Android Privacy Sandbox Ad Services:
On supported Android versions, integrated advertising services may use the Android Ad Services framework, including advertising identification and privacy-preserving attribution reporting APIs, to measure advertising performance and prevent invalid or fraudulent activity. These services are provided by the Android platform and operate according to the platform's privacy controls and your device settings.
10. Android Permissions and Their Purposes:
The following permissions are associated with the application and are used for the purposes described below. Actual use may depend on the feature or SDK enabled in a particular app version.
10.1 Permissions Requested by the Application:
INTERNET - Required to load online maps, satellite imagery, routes, place search, weather, earthquake data, advertising and other online services.
ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE - Used to check whether an internet connection is available and to adapt application behaviour when the device is offline.
ACCESS_WIFI_STATE - Used to determine the network connection type for connectivity handling, advertising delivery and diagnostics.
ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION - Used to determine your approximate location for maps, weather, nearby places and location-based features.
ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION - Used to determine your precise GPS location for navigation, turn-by-turn directions, route guidance, speed information, GPS Camera stamping and location accuracy.
FOREGROUND_SERVICE and FOREGROUND_SERVICE_LOCATION - Used to keep an active navigation session running with a persistent notification so that route guidance continues when the screen is off or the app is not visible.
CAMERA - Used only when you open the GPS Camera feature to capture a photograph with location information.
POST_NOTIFICATIONS - Used to display navigation notifications and, where you allow them, push notifications and service messages.
WAKE_LOCK - Used to keep the device awake or the screen active during an active navigation session, and by push-notification services.
VIBRATE - Used for navigation alerts, notification feedback and in-app haptic feedback.
com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID - Used to access the Google Advertising ID for advertising delivery, measurement and attribution, subject to your device settings.
ACCESS_ADSERVICES_AD_ID and ACCESS_ADSERVICES_ATTRIBUTION - Used by supported advertising services on Android Privacy Sandbox devices for advertising identification and privacy-preserving attribution reporting.
READ_BASIC_PHONE_STATE - Included by integrated advertising and Google Play services libraries to read basic, non-identifying network and connectivity information, such as the general network type. The application does not read your phone number, IMEI, SIM serial number, call logs, or contacts, and does not make or manage calls.
com.android.vending.BILLING - Used to process in-app purchases and subscriptions through Google Play.
com.google.android.c2dm.permission.RECEIVE - Used by Firebase Cloud Messaging to receive push notifications.
com.google.android.finsky.permission.BIND_GET_INSTALL_REFERRER_SERVICE - Used to read Google Play install-referral information for advertising campaign attribution and fraud prevention.
The application may access non-permission device sensors such as the accelerometer, magnetometer and rotation sensors to provide the compass, map orientation, speedometer and motion-related display features. Sensor readings are processed on your device for these features and are not collected by us as a personal profile.
10.3 Permissions the Application Does Not Request:
The application does not request ACCESS_BACKGROUND_LOCATION, RECORD_AUDIO (microphone), READ_CONTACTS, READ_SMS, READ_CALL_LOG, READ_PHONE_NUMBERS, body sensors, or health-related permissions.
11. Push Notifications and Firebase Cloud Messaging:
The application may use Firebase Cloud Messaging to deliver push notifications. Depending on your notification settings, notifications may contain information related to navigation, application updates, reminders, offers or other application features.
You can disable notifications at any time through Android device settings.
12. Maps, Navigation, Search, Weather and Location Services:
The application uses third-party services to provide maps, satellite imagery, routing, place search, weather, points of interest, street-level imagery and public data.
When you use these features, relevant information such as location coordinates, map area, search text, IP address or technical request information may be transmitted to the applicable service provider so that the requested content can be returned.
For place searches, your search text and, where relevant, approximate location may be sent to the applicable place-search providers. These providers process information under their own privacy policies.
12.1 Voice Guidance and Text-to-Speech:
Voice navigation instructions are generated using the text-to-speech engine installed on your Android device. The application converts route instructions into spoken guidance through that engine.
The application does not request microphone permission, does not record audio, and does not listen to, capture, transmit or store your voice. The behaviour of the text-to-speech engine itself is governed by the privacy policy of the engine provider installed on your device.
12.2 Map Service Telemetry:
The mapping and search services used by the application, including Mapbox, may collect their own usage and performance telemetry, such as map interaction events, session information, device and application details, and location information associated with map usage, in accordance with their own privacy policies and terms of service. Depending on the application version, maps may instead be displayed using MapLibre, an open-source map rendering library that does not include its own telemetry, with map styles, map tiles and satellite imagery provided by TheMapZone.
12.3 Place Search Provider (TheMapZone):
Place search and nearby-place results are provided by TheMapZone, through its places service (geo.themapzone.com) and its authentication gateway (gateway.themapzone.com), together with Mapbox search and tile services, which are used when TheMapZone results are unavailable. In newer versions of the application, TheMapZone also provides map styles and tiles (edge-assets.themapzone.com, tile-cdn.themapzone.com) and route calculation (navigation.themapzone.com). When you request a route, the start point (usually your current location), destination, any stops, the selected travel mode and, during navigation, your current position and direction of travel are sent to TheMapZone so that routes can be calculated and recalculated.
When you search for a place or browse nearby places, the following may be sent to TheMapZone: your search text, the selected nearby category, a search radius, and the coordinates of your current location or of the map area you are viewing, so that results can be ranked by distance. To authorise these requests, the application also sends its package name and platform type (Android) and receives a short-lived session token. No account, name, email address or advertising identifier is sent to TheMapZone by the application.
To show results from your own country, the application determines your country code on your device using the Android geocoder and, where location is unavailable, the SIM or network country code or your device language settings. Only the two-letter country code is used. The application does not read your phone number, IMEI or SIM serial number.
TheMapZone processes this information under its own privacy policy and terms.
13. Street-Level and Map Imagery:
Where available, the application may provide map imagery or street-level imagery through third-party providers. When you request such imagery, the selected map location and technical request information may be sent to the relevant provider to retrieve the requested content.
We do not use this information to create a personal profile about you.
14. Earthquake and Other Public Data:
Where the application provides public information such as earthquake data, that information may be retrieved from public or third-party APIs, including the United States Geological Survey (USGS). Such information may include event location, magnitude, depth, date and time, and other public event details.
Public earthquake and similar information is provided for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon for emergency, safety or life-critical decisions.
We do not sell your personal information for money. We do not share personal information with third parties for their own independent marketing purposes.
We may allow trusted service providers to process information when necessary to operate or improve the application, including providers supporting advertising, analytics, crash reporting, maps and navigation, place search, weather, push notifications, payment processing, attribution, security and fraud prevention.
We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, respond to lawful requests from public authorities, enforce our terms, protect our rights or property, prevent fraud or abuse, or protect the safety of users or others.
15.1 Sharing You Initiate:
The application allows you to share content such as a GPS Camera photograph, a location, coordinates or a place link using other applications installed on your device, or to open a location in an external maps application or browser.
Sharing of this kind happens only when you choose it. Once content leaves the application, it is handled by the application or service you selected, under that provider's own privacy policy and terms. Because GPS Camera photographs may contain location information, please consider this before sharing them.
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, to provide services, maintain security or comply with legal obligations.
· Location used for active navigation is processed during the navigation session and is not retained by us as a personal location history.
· Locally stored searches, routes, favourites, settings and photos remain on the device until you delete them, clear app data or uninstall the application.
· Analytics, crash reports, advertising measurements and transaction records may be retained by us or our service providers according to their applicable retention policies. Retention periods can vary by service, technical requirements and legal obligations.
17. Data Deletion and Your Choices:
· Disable or restrict location permission.
· Disable camera permission.
· Disable notifications.
· Reset or delete your Advertising ID and manage ad personalisation.
· Delete saved routes, searches or favourites within the application where those controls are available.
· Clear application data through Android settings.
· Uninstall the application to remove application data stored in the app's own private storage, including saved routes, favourites, searches and settings.
· Please note that GPS Camera photographs saved to your device's public gallery folder (Pictures/GPS-Navigation-Camera) are stored in your device gallery and are not removed when the application is uninstalled. You can delete those photographs from within the application or directly from your device gallery.
For privacy-related requests concerning information that we control, contact us using the details in Section 24. We will respond to valid requests within 30 days, subject to reasonable identity verification and lawful retention requirements.
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect information against unauthorised access, misuse, alteration, disclosure or destruction.
Data transmitted between the application and relevant service providers is sent using encrypted HTTPS/TLS connections where supported. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
The application is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13, or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction. The application is not designed for, marketed to, or primarily used by children and is not part of the Google Play Families programme.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us using the details in Section 24 so we can review the matter and take appropriate action where required.

Used for place search and nearby-place results, and in newer versions also for maps, satellite imagery and route calculation.
Google Play Install Referrer
Used for install attribution.
Firebase Performance Monitoring
Used for application performance measurement.
Firebase Remote Config
Used for remote feature and configuration management.
Firebase Cloud Messaging
Used for push notifications.
Firebase Crashlytics
Used for crash and error reporting.
Firebase Analytics / Google Analytics
Used for usage analytics.
Google User Messaging Platform (UMP)
Used for advertising consent collection where applicable.
Google AdMob
Used for advertising delivery and measurement.
Meta Audience Network (Meta Platforms, Inc.)
Used as an advertising bidding and mediation partner through Google AdMob.

These providers may collect or process information according to their own privacy policies. If a provider is added or removed in a future version, this Privacy Policy may be updated accordingly.
21. Links to Third-Party Websites:
The application may contain links or integrations that lead to third-party websites or services. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their privacy practices, content or security. We recommend reviewing the privacy policy of any third-party service before providing information to it.
· Access to information we hold about you.
· Correction of inaccurate information.
· Deletion of your information.
· Restriction of or objection to certain processing.
· Withdrawal of consent where processing is based on consent.
· Data portability where applicable.
· Opt-out of certain advertising or data-sharing activities where applicable.
· The right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
You can also manage many permissions and advertising controls directly through Android device settings. To exercise applicable rights, contact us using Section 24.
22.1 California Privacy Rights:
If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the CPRA, including rights to know what personal information is collected, request deletion or correction, opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and receive equal treatment for exercising applicable rights.
We do not sell personal information for money. Where applicable law treats certain advertising-related activities, such as sharing an advertising identifier with advertising partners for cross-context behavioural advertising, as a sale or sharing, you may opt out by resetting or deleting your Advertising ID and turning off ad personalisation in Android settings, purchasing an ad-free version where available, or contacting us.
22.2 EEA, UK and Other Regions:
If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with applicable data protection laws, processing may rely on the following legal bases:
· Performance of a service you request - navigation, maps, search and related features.
· Consent - personalised advertising, notifications and optional permissions such as location and camera, where consent is required.
· Legitimate interests - security, fraud prevention, performance and reliability where those interests are not overridden by your rights.
· Legal obligation - where processing is required to comply with applicable law.
Where required, advertising consent may be collected through the Google-certified consent form presented by the application. You may withdraw consent by changing available advertising consent choices or revoking permissions in Android settings. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
Where personal data is transferred internationally, applicable safeguards may be used, such as Standard Contractual Clauses or an applicable adequacy decision.
23. Changes to This Privacy Policy:
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the application, service providers or applicable law. When changes are made, we will update the Last Updated date and publish the revised policy at the same policy address. Where changes are material, we may take reasonable steps to notify users, such as an in-app notice.
