GPPU School 2026

The Graduate Program on Physics for the Universe (GPPU) at Tohoku University is designed to cultivate graduate students capable of leading international research projects and enhancing their global career prospects. As part of this program, we will host the GPPU School 2026 on August 31 and September 1, 2026, at Tohoku University.

Venue: Science Complex C (MAP), Multi-purpose room (N204).

This year's GPPU school will focus on elementary particle physics, astronomy, and astrophysics, which constitute the core scientific disciplines of GPPU. The program will consist of plenary lectures and student presentation sessions. The plenary lectures will be delivered by leading researchers, who will provide comprehensive overviews of their respective fields and discuss current scientific challenges and future research directions. The student presentation sessions will consist of oral and poster presentations.

This school is open to all students and researchers interested in the topics. We highly welcome attendees from outside the GPPU program.
