GPLearning — Privacy Policy
Effective date: May 2026
Your privacy matters. GPLearning is designed so that you don't have to trust us with your data — there's
nothing to trust us with, because we don't collect any.
— Information we collect —
None.
GPLearning does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information. There is no account, no
sign-up, no email required, no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, and no third-party tracking of any kind.
— Microphone and speech recognition —
To score your pronunciation, GPLearning needs access to your microphone and to Apple's speech recognition
framework. Here is exactly what happens when you tap the microphone button:
1. Your iPhone records short audio while you speak the target word or sentence.
2. The audio is processed on-device by Apple's speech recognition (we use the on-device mode, which does not
require an internet connection).
3. The recognized text is compared to the target word and a score is calculated locally.
4. The audio is discarded immediately. It is never saved to disk, never uploaded, and never sent to
GPLearning or to any third party.
— Data shared with third parties —
None. GPLearning has no servers, no analytics provider, no advertising network, and no cloud sync. The app
does not make network requests for user data.
— Children's privacy —
GPLearning is rated 4+ and is safe for children. Because the app collects no personal information, it
complies with COPPA and similar regulations by design.
— Your rights —
Because GPLearning collects no data, there is nothing to access, correct, or delete. You may uninstall the
app at any time and no traces remain on Apple's servers.
— Changes to this policy —
If we ever change the privacy policy, the new version will be posted on this page with an updated effective
date. Material changes (for example, if a future version of the app collected data) would be announced inside
the app before they take effect.
