1. Core Commitment: 100% Offline Vocabulary Vault
Goynui functions exclusively on your local device. There are no remote database servers, user tracking services, cloud synchronization pipelines, or third-party analytical integrations.
Your vocabulary lists, flashcards, memorization ratings, and study notes remain solely on your physical device.
2. Information We Do NOT Collect
Because Goynui does not connect to external servers or collect user data, we never collect, track, or share:
Zero User-Generated Content Transmission: The words you save, definitions you write, mnemonic notes, and personal sample sentences are never transmitted over the internet.
Zero Personal Identity Information: No email addresses, usernames, passwords, phone numbers, or social media accounts are requested or recorded.
Zero Behavioral & Study Analytics: We do not track how often you review flashcards, quiz scores, or learning speed.
Zero Location Data: We do not request GPS coordinates or location permissions.

All data created within Goynui is stored securely in your device's sandboxed local storage:
Word Entries: Word terms, parts of speech, phonetic spellings, definitions, etymology notes, and example sentences.
Deck & Tag Organizations: Categories, tags, custom decks (e.g. GRE, SAT, Medical, Business), and mastery difficulty tiers.
Spaced Repetition Metrics: Interval multipliers, review timestamps, ease factors, and scheduled review dates.
Application Preferences: Dark/light themes, quiz review modes, and notification preferences.
4. Device Permissions Explained
Goynui requires only minimal, optional permissions to facilitate local features:
File Storage / Document Access (Optional): Required only if you manually choose to export your word banks as CSV or JSON backup files, or import vocabulary decks.
Local Notifications (Optional): Used purely to trigger local daily study reminders at times you choose. No data is sent over the network.
5. Data Ownership, Backups & Deletion
You maintain total intellectual ownership and complete control over your vocabulary lists:
In-App Deletion: You can delete words, decks, or reset the entire vault at any time.
Instant Data Purge: Uninstalling the application or clearing app storage in device settings immediately erases all data.
Portable Export: You can export your data at any time to open formats (CSV/JSON).
6. GDPR & CCPA/CPRA Legal Compliance
Because Goynui maintains zero remote servers and collects zero user data:
