The Govi Link App is designed as a professional tool for authorized Agricultural Officers. We do not collect personal data from the general public. For Officers granted access by our administration, we collect and process the following information to enable core app functionality and service delivery:
Account & Identity Data: Username, official designation, and a unique employee/ officer ID generated and assigned by our administration.
Professional Activity Data: Information related to agricultural activities logged within the App, such as farmer visit records, field observations, crop health data, advisory provided, and report submissions.
Operational Data: Date, time, and status of activities performed within the App for tracking workflow and task completion.
Device Information (Non-Personal): Basic device information such as device model, operating system version, and App usage logs. This information is collected solely for the purposes of technical support, debugging, and ensuring the stable performance of the App.
We expressly state that the Govi Link App does NOT:
Collect or track real-time GPS or precise location data.
Require or allow Officers to create their own accounts; all accounts are provisioned centrally.
Collect personal data unrelated to the Officer's professional role.
2. How We Use the Information
The information collected is used strictly for the following legitimate business and operational purposes:
To authenticate users and provide secure access to the App.
To facilitate and record agricultural extension activities and advisory services.
To monitor and support the effective use of the App for its intended official purposes.
To perform internal analytics aimed at improving app functionality, user experience, and service delivery.
To generate aggregated, non-identifiable reports for program management and oversight.

We treat all data within the Govi Link App as confidential operational information.
No Sale of Data: We do not sell, rent, or trade any user data to third parties.
Internal Access: Data is accessed only by authorized personnel, administrators, and technical staff of Polygon Holdings Private Limited who require such access to perform their legitimate job functions (e.g., system administration, support, and analytics).
