About me

I began teaching in 2013. My background includes Bachelors of Education, Mathematics, and Kinesiology with seven years of experience teaching in each of these areas at the secondary level. Throughout university, I played varsity football with the University of Saskatchewan for six seasons. I continue to coach football in the community and more recently have taken on a coordinating position with the VI Raiders.

I implement a combination of a thinking and traditional classroom. As a class we often use the whiteboards around the classroom to problem solve and work through new ideas. This allows students to further explore the subject matter and develop their ability to critical think through complex problems and situations.
