Ultricity (“we,” “our,” or “us”) values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information when you use our VR application Gorilla’s Mistake on Meta Quest devices. By accessing or using the app, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Age Requirement
Gorilla’s Mistake is intended for users aged 13 and older.
We do not knowingly collect or store personally identifiable information from children under 13.
If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13, we will promptly take steps to delete it.
2. Third‑Party Services We Use
To provide multiplayer, backend, authentication, and other services, Gorilla’s Mistake integrates with third‑party platforms:
Photon Engine (for real-time multiplayer, networking, matchmaking). See Photon’s privacy policy: https://www.photonengine.com/legal/privacy-policy Photon+1
PlayFab (for user accounts, game data, cloud saves, etc.). PlayFab uses the privacy practices described in the Microsoft Privacy Statement: https://privacy.microsoft.com/en-us/privacystatement as invoked by the PlayFab Terms of Service. PlayFab+1
Because these services handle data on our behalf, some data about your usage and connection to the game may be processed by them under their policies.
3. Information We Collect
3.1 Voluntary Information
If you contact us (e.g. for support, feedback), you may provide an e-mail address or other contact info.
3.2 Automatically Collected / Multiplayer‑Related Data
When you play Gorilla’s Mistake (especially in multiplayer mode using Photon & PlayFab), we — or the third‑party services — may process certain data necessary for functionality:
Session data: e.g. when you join/leave a multiplayer session, duration, match metadata (room IDs, match history) for matchmaking, leaderboards, or analytics.
User account / player identifiers as managed by PlayFab (e.g. user ID, account‑linked data) — to support login, save progress, cloud saves, and cross‑device support.
Device/network connection data (e.g. IP address, network latency info) as required by Photon or PlayFab for establishing multiplayer connections or for moderation/anti‑abuse measures.
We do not intentionally collect or store sensitive biometric data (e.g. facial scans, iris scans, voice prints).
4. How We Use Information
We (and/or the third‑party services acting on our behalf) use the information collected to:
Provide multiplayer, matchmaking, authentication, and networked gameplay.
Manage user accounts, save game progress, cloud saves (via PlayFab).
Diagnose technical issues and crashes, improve performance and stability.
Analyze usage patterns to improve gameplay, features, and user experience.
Enforce rules, moderation, and anti‑abuse measures (e.g. bans, reporting).
Respond to user support requests or feedback.
We do not use your data for targeted advertising, nor do we sell or rent your personal information to third parties.
5. Sharing & Data Handling by Third‑Parties
Data required for multiplayer, accounts, and cloud saves is shared with Photon Engine and PlayFab. These services use your data under their own privacy policies (linked above).
We do not share your personal or usage data with advertisers or social media platforms for marketing unless you explicitly request or consent — and currently, we request no such consent for Gorilla’s Mistake.
We may disclose information only when required by law, regulation, or legal process.
In the unlikely event of a business transfer, merger, or acquisition, data may be transferred as part of that transaction under appropriate confidentiality and users’ rights protections.
6. Data Retention
We (and the third‑party services) retain data only so long as necessary to provide game services, fulfill contractual obligations (e.g. account persistence, cloud saves), or as required by law.
If you request deletion of your account/data (see Section 8), we will proceed as promptly as reasonable under applicable law and platform / service constraints.
7. Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. While Photon Engine and PlayFab have their own security measures (including data‑processing safeguards) under their policies, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Rights & Data Requests
Requesting access to your stored data (account data, saved progress, usage logs)
Requesting correction or deletion of your data
Objecting to or restricting certain processing (where applicable)
If you wish to exercise any of these rights, contact us at wintertigervr@gmail.com — we will coordinate with the third‑party services as needed.
No matter your location, we will ALWAYS delete your data, or give your data to you.
*If you have a ban history, we will not delete your data, but you can still ask to view*
(special roles like moderation, creator items, etc will require for a user to not have any bans expired or active)
9. Third‑Party Policy References
Because Gorilla’s Mistake leverages external services, your data may be subject to those services’ policies:

10. Children’s Privacy
As noted, the game is for users aged 13+. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected such data inadvertently, we will delete it as soon as reasonably possible.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time (e.g. to reflect changes in third‑party services, legal requirements, or new features). We will post the updated policy clearly (for example on our website or within the app) and update the “Effective Date” accordingly. Continued use after changes indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
