Welcome to Chesapeake Adventures Sportfishing  and crabbing  the Patuxent River and Chesapeake Bay from Battle Creek (a 50 minute ride from the Washington beltway).  We also fish from Solomons Island and Cape Charles Virginia depending on the  time of year.  Those of you that have fished with us over the last 30 years will see some changes to our operation. We have made these changes as a result of new regulations  that have lowered the keeping of Striped bass to one per person. We are now in an area where we can expect more options to catch additional species still including Striped Bass, but also Perch, Catfish, Spot, Whiting, Spotted Trout as well as Red Drum, Cobia, and Spanish Mackerel depending on time of year and where we are fishing.

We are operating out of a 26 ft. center console boat with a new Suzuki out board motor and state of the art Garmin trolling motor and updated electronics.  We fish 3 to 4 passengers to give everyone plenty of room to fish . We are coast guard licensed and insured.  Captain Jim is dedicated to making your Chesapeake Adventure a safe and fun experience. We can customize your fishing or crabbing trip  to you and your party. Be it kids  customers, family, friends, novice or expert angler. No fishing experience is required to have a fun day and catch fish.

We can provide a quality mate for an additional fee to help with anything to make your day on the bay more enjoyable including filleting your catch at the end of the day.
