Boston Harbour, USA, on a collaboration visit (July 2023).
I am an applied mathematician developing reduced mathematical models to understand complex physical systems in biological, physiological, and environmental contexts. My work combines tools from fluid and solid mechanics, dynamical systems, numerical methods, and asymptotic analysis, and is closely integrated with experimental and observational data.
I am currently a Postdoctoral Scholar at the University of Waterloo, working with Professor Anita Layton (Department of Applied Mathematics) and Professor Nandita Basu (Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering).
Previously, I was a Lord Kelvin Adam Smith PhD student at the University of Glasgow (where I also completed my MSci degree), co-supervised by Professor Peter Stewart (School of Mathematics and Statistics) and Professor Matthew Dalby (School of Molecular Biosciences).Â
