Google Customer Support | Google Customer Service | Google Contact Number

How do I contact a living person on Google?

If you encounter any problems with Google products, you can try seeking help from Google Customer Service. One of the fastest ways to contact the Google support team is through their phone number. It is only accessible to Google Ads. If you're having trouble with your Google Ads account, you can call 1-888-570-1595 Monday through Friday from 9 am to 8 pm ET to speak to a customer service representative.

There isn't a dedicated 24/7 Google support phone number that you can use to get help with other Google products and services. To contact a live person, you need to visit the Google support page and find the Google icon that is attributed to the problem you encountered. Then scroll to the bottom and click the "Contact Us" checkbox. Describe the issue and choose the email, chat or phone support option. Available options may vary depending on the Google product you're having trouble with.

How to get help with Google accounts

This article teaches you how to access Google's support resources. You can't call or email Google's customer support team directly; in fact, the only time you can talk to Google is when you request support for a specific item (for example, your Android phone) or when you send a press-related email. In virtually all circumstances, contacting Google will not resolve your issue. Since you can't contact Google for support for services like Gmail or YouTube, you can use Google's support site for instructions. Be aware that many numbers and email addresses that claim to be from Google are actually scams.

Method 1 – Use Google Support

1. Understand how the Google support center works. Since Google can't provide customer service for things like password reset or account recovery, they have a comprehensive list of common help topics and tutorials for common issues.

While the support center is not a contact with Google, it is the only Google-based alternative for issues for which you might feel the need to contact Google.

2. Open Google Support. Go to https://support.google.com/ in your computer's web browser.

3. Select a product. Click on the name of the product you are having problems with.

For example, if you are having trouble with Google Chrome, click on the Google Chrome option.

4. Review available support resources. You'll see a list of common topics in the middle of the page, so look for your question or issue there.

5. Select a category of support resources. Click on the question or problem category you want to use. You should see the category expand to show more specific options.

If clicking the category opens a support page, skip the next step.

You can also type your question or problem in the search bar at the top of the page.

6. Select a support resource topic. Click on one of the topics under the expanded category. Doing so will open the theme's support article page.

If you typed your question or issue into the search bar, click the topic that appears in the dropdown menu below the search bar.

7. Follow the instructions in the support article. Carefully read the support article that opens, then follow the instructions in the article to try to fix your problem.

You may need to follow the instructions in various articles to fully address your issue.

Most support articles have a list of related articles on the right side of the page.

8. View support numbers for your Android phone. If you want support for a non-Pixel Android model, you can view the list of support numbers to call by doing the following:

Click Pixel Phone on the Google support page.

Click Contact Us on the top right hand side of the page.

Click Support for Android devices.

Review the dropdown list of phone numbers.

9. Request a conversation for your Pixel phone. If you have a Pixel 1 or Pixel 2 Android phone, you can get chat or phone call support from Google by doing the following:

Click Pixel Phone on the Google support page.

Click Contact Us on the top right hand side of the page.

Click Pixel Device Compatibility.

Select your pixel model.

Click Request Callback for a phone call or Request Chat for an instant message conversation.

Follow the instructions on the screen.

10. Request a chat for Google Drive issues. Google Drive is the only app-based service for which Google offers real-time support. To request a Google chat or email, do the following:

Click on Google Drive on the Google support page.

Click Contact Us in the upper right corner of the page.

Select a topic, then select a category if prompted.

The Request a Refund option will not work for this step.

Click Request Chat or Email Support.

Follow the onscreen instructions to start a chat or email conversation.

Method 2: Contact Google directly

1. Please understand that there are only a few ways to contact Google directly. Unless you're a member of the press or a G Suite administrator, your ways of contacting Google are limited to sending snail mail and applying for a job.

The only exceptions to this rule (Android support, Pixel support, and Google Drive support) are listed in the method above.

2. Never call a number that Google does not explicitly indicate. Several scam numbers claiming to be from Google are currently in circulation. To avoid getting scammed (or just wasting your time), only call a number that is specifically listed in a Google doc. For example, you can call a number that appears on a G Suite form, but not a number on a non-Google site.

The same idea applies to email addresses and regular addresses.

Google staff will never ask you for your password in a chat or phone conversation.

3. Email the Google press team. If you are a member of the press and would like to contact Google with a query, you can email them at press@google.com. Depending on the subject of the email, you may or may not receive a response.[1]

Google will only accept and respond to emails from established members of the press.

4. Send mail to the Google address. If you don't mind sending a snail mail and not getting a response, you can send your mail to 1600 Amphitheater Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043. Google is highly unlikely to respond to snail mail, so don't do this with an urgent or sensitive item. .[two]

5. Contact G Suite support. Regular Google account users can't do this, but G Suite administrators have access to 24/7 customer support. To use G Suite to contact Google, make sure you're a G Suite administrator, and then do the following:[3]

Go to https://gsuite.google.com/support/ in your web browser.

Select a contact method (for example, click Phone Support if you want to call Google).

Click LOG IN TO G SUITE.

Sign in with your G Suite administrator account information.

Follow the instructions on the screen. If you're calling Google, you'll also need to follow the instructions spoken on the hotline.

6. Apply for a job with Google. The last way you can contact Google directly is by applying for a job with them. You can view and apply for available jobs on the Google jobs page:

Go to https://careers.google.com/jobs in your computer's web browser.

Change the location in the rightmost text box to fit your preferred location.

Click the "Search Jobs" text box, then press ↵ Enter.

Scroll through the results.

Select a result, then click APPLY in the upper right corner.

Complete the application and follow the instructions on the screen.
