Goodnight Letters is the first project of Liverpool-based artist Lewis. His writing is a reminder that simplicity can hold evoking depth as he ties nostalgic Bedroom Pop with punchy Dream Rock to soundtrack that perfect sunny afternoon. With a knack for sugar-coated melodies and soundscapes glittered in dreamy reverbs and airy vocals, there's something familiar that settles softly into the style of Goodnight Letters' discography. 

Following in the footsteps of Dream Pop legends Her's, Goodnight Letters aims to bring Dream Pop into the Spotlight of the Northern UK music scene through intimate live performances that capture the interest of audiences. Goodnight Letters is working to define a perfect kind of shiny Dream Rock that would settle into the hearts of anyone with a penchant for Mac DeMarco or Beach House. 

In 2022, Lewis moved to Liverpool to study music at George Martin's LIPA University. After graduating in June of 2025, Lewis has spent his time honing his dream-like style to share his artistry with the world. 

The project began in early 2023 when Lewis met Ray Badger for the first time as students in Liverpool, where the two would bond over their shared interest for the peculiar. Badger's production was a natural extension of Goodnight Letters' oddball Dream Rock, and the two would work to define a perfect kind of Bedroom Pop that would slip into the hearts of anyone with a penchant for Her's, Beach House or Mac DeMarco.
