SCENE PRIORITY LIST
A priority list is important to follow. Follow the priority. The further down the list the more important it is, with #1 being least and #8 being most important.

When possible scenes need to be moved to a different channel. 1.1, 1.2, etc. Only scene command and negotiations need to be using radio when on a scene during the negotiations, unless there is pertinent information needing to be shared or you missed something such as class of weapons, number of individuals, what position in line up, etc. 2 second rule is still in effect. (hold button for 2 seconds before speaking to be sure you are not talking over someone)

REDZONES ARE OPTIONAL (MAX 10 officers respond)
Redzones do not take priority. They are optional and any other scene on the priority list should come first. IF responding to redzone please switch radio channels. PAY ATTENTION to any other calls that come in that may take priority over a redzone. DO NOT GO TO REDZONES ALONE!!! DO NOT HIT YOUR PANIC BUTTON IN A REDZONE, you chose to respond to it.
Panic Button
Panic Button is to only be used if you go down and are NOT on a scene or a redzone.
(Example: You go down on a traffic stop or get taken hostage USE panic button. DO NOT hit panic button if you go down after chasing someone from a robbery)
City Speed Limits
City: 60 MPH - 55 For Commercial
County Roads: 70 MPH - 65 For Commercial
Freeways: 80 MPH - 75 For Commercial
Scene Overviews
When you respond to an active scene, You are part of that scene until the end. Example: If you go to a bank scene, you are part of that scene until the chase is called off or the criminals are apprehended. If suspects are apprehended, the officers who put them in cuffs are to write the report unless told differently by a SGT+
Suspects can leave once they hand over hostage, and or once they get to their vehicle after rp with you if you got there in time. Scene command needs to get a line up out quick. Negotiations will stay behind and search / reset scene if needed, then catch up to the chase. BE AWARE. ONCE THEY ARE IN THE VEHICLE THEY CAN GO SO PAY ATTENTION!!!
Crashing Out
If you crash out, repair your car. You stay in channel until the scene is over. You follow the chase, this way if a gunfight happens you can respond.
Spike Strip
You can not use spike strips, until 2 mins into a 10-80, off of a robbery.
OFFICER DOWN SITUATION (On a scene)
When an officer goes down, if it is from a scene. Only the units involved in that scene may re-attach.
Code 5 Felony Stops
Felony stops are performed with 3 total units, 3 units on the active felony stop. Primary and Secondary will order the subject out of the vehicle. Third unit will remain ready in the vehicle for a possible chase. If the criminals request backup then PD may as well.
Non Lethal Usage
Tasers and Batons are issued as a safe non lethal alternative. Once a 10-70 begins, 10 seconds must pass prior to deployment.
With proper RP criminals can shoot out of vehicles. If fired upon you can return fire. If suspects are ramming and making attempts to stop you from being able to chase you may REQUEST approval to disable vehicle. This should be performed by using the taser to pop tires.
Utilizing Proper Force
We will match force/firepower. Class 1 will be met with Class 1. Class 2 with Class 2 and so forth.
If they are trying to stab you or using life threatening weapons you may match with Class 1. If they are not using a weapon you may only use less than lethal options.
Voiding the timer situations
Suspects turn and point weapons or attempt to assault you in any manner.
Attempting a separate crime in front of you. (Trying to steal a vehicle)
Attempting to go up a ladder to create a "choke point" at the top.
Direct path to a waterway.
If they get assistance.
Officers are often the first responders to arrive on a scene. In any instance when you arrive on a scene and medical personnel are not present, you must attempt to help all casualties. The five main goals of first aid are to preserve life, protect the casualty from further harm, provide pain relief, prevent the injury from becoming worse and provide reassurance.
Vehicle Modifications
We strive to always act and look professional and in order to do so our vehicles must also always look professional. That is why we have certain regulations within the departments on which vehicle attachments and modifications you may use while on duty. Remember that these vehicles belong to the Police Department so any modifications will need to be approved by your Command Team.
RTO
RTO is reserved for emergency radio traffic; anyone seen abusing or misusing it will be subject to corrective action.
Radio etiquette
USE 10 CODES!!! Conversations, argueing, ooc, and miss use of the radio will not be tolerated. If you need to debrief after a scene or need to speak with someone about life or things that are not important for everyone to know please use 10 codes to get someone to go to a different channel or meet up. (ex "X-ray3 to 2-A2" "send it" "can I 10-1 with you in 1.1?" "10-4")
LOA/Inactivity
Please reach out to your Command staff if you need an extended absence or a leave of absence. If you are absent for seven days without prior approval you will be fired and removed off the roster without waring. This was your warning. We understand that IRL comes first but please let us know.
Off duty
If you decide to go off duty in the city for any reason you need to change into civilian clothing and may never carry any police issued items aka your sidearms, handcuffs etc. You must always conduct yourself in a professional manner. When you are off duty, you must obey all city laws and traffic laws etc. While off duty you cannot conduct yourself as a police officer. This includes giving demands, trying to arrest or taunt an individual using your badge as leverage or anything of that nature. Off duty means you are off duty and not a cop at that moment in time FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULT IN CORRECTIVE ACTION.
SCENE SETUPS
If the bank/scene is not in this please remember to use best judgement of placement. (block roadways to scene and as a general rule of thumb scene command should be in a spot he can see everything developing i.e. directly across the street.
