The Dubs enjoy success from deep in 124-102 win over the Jazz

The Warriors responded to a loss on Wednesday in emphatic fashion, erupting for 70 first half points en route to a 124-102 victory over the Utah Jazz on Friday night, avenging a loss at the hands of Utah earlier in the season. Stephen Curry returned to the familiar place atop the Warriors scoring mantle, pouring in 33 points with nine rebounds, four assists and three steals, and going 5-for-11 from deep. D'Angelo Russell added 19 points and Glenn Robinson III had a season-high 16.

With the game tight in the first quarter, the Warriors ended the frame on an 11-2 run to take a 38-27 lead into the first break, using nine points in the quarter from Robinson III and 11 from Curry. They would build the lead to 56-35 before the Jazz rolled back to within 10 at 64-54 with just under two minutes to play.

Jordan Poole (14 points, two rebounds, five assists) and Draymond Green (13 points, nine rebounds, five assists) ensured it wouldn't stay close, hitting a pair of three-point field goals to make it 70-56 at half time.

The Warrior defense would help put the Jazz away in the second half, allowing just 18 third quarter points for Utah while the offense dumped in 31 to put the game away entering the final frame. Seven Warriors scored in double-figures as the team shot 55 percent from the floor while holding the Jazz to 42 percent shooting.
