Golden State wraps up a back-to-back set in Dallas on Wednesday night looking to take the first three games of the team's four-game road trip. This is the first meeting with the Warriors and Mavericks, who split the four-game series last year. The Dubs have won 19 of the last 22 meetings between the two teams.
Stephen Curry became the 10th player in NBA history to score 29 or more points, pull in 15 or more assists and have 10 or more steals in a single game, leading the Warriors to a 125-107 win over the Memphis Grizzlies. Full Recap
Curry's impressive triple-double, his first of the season, put him in elite company, joining the likes of Oscar Robertson, James Harden, Russell Westbrook and Kobe Bryant. The impressive rebound total is a new high-water mark for Curry and comes one game after he pulled in 13 rebounds, then the second most of his career and the most rebounds he has had since he had 13 against the Magic in March of 2016.
The tandem of Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis is powering the Maverick offense early in the year. Porzingis leads all Mavericks with 23.4 points per game and is second on the team with 8.2 rebounds. Meanwhile, Doncic is second in scoring with 19.2 points, is third on the team with 7.3 rebounds and leads the group with 7.0 assists per game. Doncic is one of just three players (Russell Westbrook, HOU and Ben Simmons, PHI) to average 19 or more points, 7 or rebounds and 7 or more assists per game.
