It took until the final minutes, but on the back of a go ahead three-point field goal from Stephen Curry and a clinching three from D’Angelo Russell the Warriors extended their season-long win streak to 10 games. It is the thirteenth time in team history that they have won 10 or more games in a row, and the longest streak since they won 11 straight from January 5 to January 28, 2019.
Curry finished with 41 points, nine rebounds and 15 assists while going 8-for-14 on three-point field goals. Russell added 22 points, five rebounds and eight assists while Draymond Green scored 20 points.
A back-and-forth game entered the fourth quarter with the Warriors holding on to 89-87 lead. The two teams traded runs as the Dubs built a 103-95 lead, only to Victor Oladipo (27 points, three rebounds, three assists) score seven points as part of a 15-0 run to make it 109-103 with three minutes to play.
Curry quickly answered, going on a 9-0 run of his own to make it 113-109.
After T.J. Warren (15 points, two rebounds, eight assists) converted a contested layup to tie the game, Curry got loose off a pin down screen, nailing the go-ahead, and winning three, with just 1:15 to play.
Just a few plays later, with the Warriors still clinging to a three-point edge, the Pacers sent a double-team to Curry, leaving Russell open beyond the arc, who promptly sunk the three and put the game out of reach.
The Warriors look to extend the winning streak to 11 when they visit the Philadelphia 76ers to begin a five-game east coast road trip.
