Investigating star-forming regions in nearby low-metallicity environments is key to understanding the birth processes of star-planet systems, both in the present and the past. This workshop will focus on the rapidly advancing high-resolution observations of the outer regions of the Milky Way and the Large and Small Magellanic Clouds, discussing in depth the physics and chemistry of star and planet formation of various masses in different environments. Additionally, we aim to promote interactions among young researchers in this field and foster the emergence of new collaborative research themes.
