My passion for horsemanship began when I was eight years old. When I was nine, I convinced my family to adopt a wild mustang from Nevada, and over the next few years I slowly and patiently learned how to handle, and start him on my own. Working with him taught me so much about trust, consistency, and listening to what a horse is really trying to tell you.
Spending so much time at the barn and putting my heart into my horse helped my dedication stand out, and shortly after my 14th birthday, Tamara invited me to join her program as an apprentice. I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to learn from her and to help support and grow the program while continuing to improve my riding, training, and overall horsemanship.
My dream is to build a life in the horse world as a trainer, professional rider, or clinician who focuses on the horse–human relationship. I do my best to bring patience, care, and effort into everything I do with horses, and I carry that same work ethic into school as well. Being part of this program has shaped me in ways I never imagined and continues to inspire the horsewoman I’m becoming.
