Literally. Windows is just so sad. It's uncoherent. It doesn't know itself. It's not meant to be one things. It's very versatile but in a lying to oneself type of way. It's just sad. I hate to see it this way. I grew up with windows and indeed I got introduced to Linux very early one in my life, but I was never into it that much until 2019.
Now, I'm not saying Linux is better than Windows. In fact, it's not. Each has its pros and cons in certain things.
The main reason Linux is taking the winning flag is firstly, because people like to take a side, and secondly, Linux is free and doesn't spy on you; which made all people who "care" about their privacy switch to Linux.
Now just so we're clear, Microsoft still collects your data even when you don't use Windows. It does collect the data in different and slower ways, but it still gets what it needs. Your main enemy is not Windows, it's your phone.
Now that's a different story for a different time.
Windows has been none other but the victim of our soulless drive towards "innovative looks & functionalities", towards "Artificial Intelligence", "MAC looking rounded square things", and it drives me crazy.
It feels empty. Windows 11 is purely SHIT, and it's completely our fault for firstly pushing Microsoft to make the following changes and for supporting the changes made.
I'll put it in a more human way, Windows 11, Windows 10, and Windows 8.1/8 are nothing but fake soulless, operating systems designed to give you a face that keeps you distracted and collect as much data as it wants about you, while wearing several masks.
That's not what Windows is. Windows never was that. It was Great. It was Immaculate. It had a soul, a mood, a vibe, a feel to it.
Sadly... Nothing has it nowadays. Not even your retarded Linux.
I personally am running Windows 11 right now, as I have a lot of apps that I need to use for Uni and work. I hate it, I hate using my computer because of it. I don't work as well or enjoy anything on my computer just because I'm using this unbearable tool on it.
I have a small Fujitsu x32BIT box on the side, that has NetBSD... That's keeping me calm. :)
