Welcome to the GMS Bands webpage! Here you will be able to find pertinent information related to the bands here at GMS. We strive for excellence within the band program by focusing on honing the fundamentals of playing an instrument within a rehearsal setting. My goal is that this process is both rigorous and fun! By the end of a student's 8th grade year in band, my hope is that they are prepared for advanced music making at the High School level. It's going to be a great year- thank you for joining us for it!

GMS Color Guard begins in September with practices before school twice a week during the fall marching band season and they will perform with the GHS Color Guard at the GHS/EHS Football Game.
There will be additional opportunities for spinning/performances throughout the remainder of the fall and winter after the fall marching season. - stay tuned!
Students can sign up to participate in the band/orchestra room and all equipment is provided. Uniform will consists of a instrumental music t-shirt, jeans, and tennis shoes.
Students will work with the GHS Color Guard Student Leadership and Instructor.
