Hanzemble

Move strokes to assemble Hanzi. Challenge minds and enhance Chinese.

Chinese characters, also known as Hanzi, are used in both Chinese and Japanese languages. They also appear in Korean and Vietnamese literature. Unlike English, Chinese characters are constructed with a certain number of fundamental strokes, in slightly varying size/orientation.

In this interactive game, the players are presented with randomly placed strokes of a character. The player can move the strokes using mouse or touch screen to assemble the character. Machine learning technology is used to verify successful assembly.. The player will be presented new, possibly more challenging, character if successful.

The game can help Chinese learners to better understand the stroke composition of Hanzi and challenge Chinese experts as a brainteaser. Knowing the correct placement of strokes will improve the handwriting of all players.
