Erik is a lifelong Hoosier, having grown up in Bloomington, obtained a bachelor's degree from Indiana University, and spent the last 3 decades in central Indiana. Erik caught the life-saving and public service bug while taking a first aid class as an elective at IU. For the next 20-plus years, he served as both an EMT and a Paramedic in various roles across several departments. He also served as a Deputy Coroner for the Marion County Coroner's Office. After an unexpected retirement, he found his next service job as a full-time Real Estate Broker. Over the last seven years, Erik has helped more than 150 families buy and sell homes. He has been married to his wife, Liz, for more than 25 years and is raising 2 amazing young men: Keaton, 24, and Hudson, 16. In his spare time, he enjoys hanging with his dogs, cheering on the Cubbies and Hoosiers, and enjoying a glass of bourbon. He is excited for the opportunity to once again serve in a capacity that will undoubtedly save lives in Indiana.Â
