# Privacy Policy for Football: Goal Poacher

This Privacy Policy explains how TDSOFTWAREZ ("we," "us," or "the Developer") handles information when you use **Football: Goal Poacher** (the "Game") on Meta Horizon/Meta Quest devices.
## 1. Information the Game handles
The current version of the Game handles only the information needed to operate the Game and its global leaderboards.
### Meta Horizon account information
When you use the leaderboard feature, the Game accesses:
- your Meta Horizon User ID;
- your Meta Horizon Profile;
- leaderboard information, including submitted scores, ranks, and the leaderboard to which a score belongs.
We use the User ID to identify the correct player and leaderboard entry across sessions. We use the public display name to label leaderboard entries. Although Meta's User Profile permission may make a profile photo available, the current version of the Game does not retrieve, display, or store profile photos.
Because the Game uses global leaderboards, your public Meta Horizon display name or username, score, and rank may be visible to other Game users.
### Data stored only on your device
Game progress and preferences—such as progress, gameplay statistics, unlocked content, settings, selected language, play time, and any optional local nickname—are stored locally on your device using Unity PlayerPrefs. We do not upload this local progress data to a developer-operated server or cloud database.
You can remove locally stored Game data by clearing the Game's app data or uninstalling the Game. Doing so may permanently erase local progress.
## 2. How we use information
We use the limited Meta Horizon account and leaderboard information described above only to:
- authenticate and identify the current Meta Horizon user for leaderboard functionality;
- submit a score selected by the Game to the correct leaderboard;
- retrieve and display leaderboard entries, public player names, scores, and ranks;
- identify and highlight the current user's leaderboard entry; and
- operate, secure, troubleshoot, and maintain the requested leaderboard feature.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use Meta Horizon User Data to build advertising profiles, determine eligibility for credit, employment, housing, insurance, or other high-impact decisions, or make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process this information as necessary to provide the Game features you request, for our legitimate interest in operating and securing those features, and to comply with legal obligations.
## 3. Storage and disclosure
Meta Horizon Platform manages and stores leaderboard entries. The Game communicates directly with Meta Platform APIs for leaderboard operations. The Developer does not maintain a separate cloud database containing Meta Horizon User IDs, public profiles, leaderboard entries, or Game progress.
## 4. Retention and deletion
- **Local Game data:** remains on your device until the Game overwrites it, you clear the Game's app data, or you uninstall the Game.
- **Meta account information used at runtime:** is not written by the Game to a developer-operated cloud database. It may be held temporarily in memory while the Game is running.
- **Leaderboard data:** is stored and retained by Meta Horizon Platform according to Meta's platform settings, terms, and policies.
For local data, clear the Game's app data or uninstall the Game. For information controlled by Meta, use the privacy and account controls provided by Meta. You may also contact us about a privacy request. We will respond as required by applicable law for data within our control and, where appropriate, direct or coordinate the request with Meta.
## 5. Requests from public authorities
The Developer does not operate a server or database containing Meta Horizon User Data, leaderboard data, or Game progress and therefore ordinarily has no such user data in its possession to disclose. If we receive a request from a public authority, we will verify the request and respond that we do not hold the requested data.
## 6. Children
The Game is not intended for, offered to, or permitted to be used by children under 13. A user must also meet any higher minimum age required by applicable law and Meta's account or platform rules. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. We rely on Meta's account eligibility, parental controls, and age-related platform rules and do not independently verify a user's age. If we learn that a child under 13 has used the Game or provided information contrary to this Policy, we will take reasonable steps within our control.
