This Privacy Policy explains how the GoalRadar mobile application (“GoalRadar,” the “App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) accesses, uses, stores, and shares information.
By using GoalRadar, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
Users may provide a nickname, select favorite football leagues, and choose a profile image.
This information is stored locally on the user’s device and is used only to personalize the App. It is not uploaded to the developer’s servers.
If a user chooses to set a profile image, GoalRadar requests access to photos or media stored on the device.
The selected image is copied to the App’s local storage. It is not uploaded to the developer’s servers or made publicly available.
Users may decline this permission. In that case, the profile image feature may be unavailable, but the rest of the App will remain usable.
GoalRadar connects to external services to retrieve football matches, standings, news, team logos, and related images.
When these requests are made, service providers may automatically receive limited technical information, including:
IP address;
request date and time;
device and operating system information;
standard network headers;
information required for security, abuse prevention, and error diagnosis.
This information is used to deliver content and maintain the security and reliability of the services.
Downloaded football data, news, logos, and images may be temporarily stored on the user’s device. This helps the App load faster and display previously downloaded content when the internet connection is unavailable or unstable.
GoalRadar does not request precise location, contacts, camera, microphone, payment information, or government-issued identifiers.
The App does not require a user account and does not collect email addresses through the App.
Information is used only to:
display football matches, standings, and news;
load team logos and related images;
save nicknames, profile images, and league preferences locally;
personalize the App’s interface;
cache content and improve loading speed;
maintain the security and reliability of network services;
respond to privacy or support requests.
GoalRadar may use the following third-party services to provide its content:
Google Cloud and Firebase — to operate the server-side proxy;
Google News — as a fallback news source;
API-SPORTS — to provide football information;
NewsData.io — to provide news content;
publishers and content hosts — to provide images and external news articles.
These services process information according to their own privacy policies:
Google and Firebase: https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy/
API-SPORTS: https://api-sports.io/privacy
NewsData.io: https://newsdata.io/privacy-policy
When a user opens a news link, it may be displayed in an external browser. The destination website’s privacy policy will then apply. We do not control third-party websites.
We do not sell or rent users’ personal information.
We do not share personal information for personalized or cross-context behavioral advertising.
Information may be disclosed only when:
required by applicable law;
required by a valid court order or government request;
reasonably necessary to protect users, the App, or the public;
necessary to prevent fraud, abuse, or security threats.
The current version of GoalRadar:
does not display third-party advertisements;
does not use analytics tracking;
does not offer in-app purchases;
does not use advertising identifiers for personalized advertising.
If these practices change, this Privacy Policy and the App’s Google Play Data safety disclosures will be updated.
Nicknames, favorite leagues, profile images, and cached content are stored locally on the user’s device.
This information remains stored until the user:
replaces the relevant information;
clears GoalRadar’s storage in the device settings;
uninstalls the App.
Clearing the App’s storage or uninstalling it deletes locally stored information, subject to the device’s backup settings.
GoalRadar does not create user accounts or maintain server-side user profiles.
Third-party service providers may temporarily retain technical request data according to their own privacy policies and legal obligations.
If a user contacts the developer by email, the correspondence is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain required business records, and comply with legal obligations.
Network requests controlled by GoalRadar use secure HTTPS connections.
Locally stored information is protected by the security features of the user’s device and operating system.
However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Third-party service providers may process technical information in countries other than the user’s country of residence.
Their safeguards and international data-transfer practices are described in their respective privacy policies.
Depending on their country of residence, users may have the right to:
request information about personal data processing;
access their personal data;
request correction or deletion;
restrict data processing;
withdraw previously provided consent;
submit a complaint to a competent data protection authority.
To exercise these rights, contact the developer at luongstumpf509@gmail.com.
Because GoalRadar does not create user accounts, we may not hold server-side information that can be linked to a particular user.
GoalRadar is a general-audience sports application and is not specifically directed to children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If a parent or legal guardian believes that a child has provided personal information to us, they may contact us at luongstumpf509@gmail.com. We will investigate and delete information under our control when appropriate.
We may update this Privacy Policy when the App, applicable laws, or our data-handling practices change.
When an updated version is published, the effective date will be revised. Material changes will be communicated through the App or another appropriate method when required by law.
