• Dr. Yun's manuscript, "Data-driven Analysis in the Selective Oligomerization of Long-chain Linear Alpha Olefin on Zeolite Catalysts: A Machine Learning-based Parameter Study ", was accepted in Fuel Processing Technology (IF:7.2, JCR Top 10.1%).

• Dr. Yun's manuscript, "A Mechanistic Study on the Selective Hydrogenation of γ-Butyrolactone over the Rational Designed Bimetallic CuCo Catalysts ", was accepted in ACS Sustainable Chemistry & Engineering (IF:7.1, JCR Top 12.1%) with featured on the Supplementary Cover.

• Dr. Yun gave an invited talk at the International Symposium on Feedstock Recycling of Polymeric Materials (ISFR2024) in Jeju, Title: "A Mechanistic Study on Catalytic Depolymerization of Waste Polystyrene Plastics"

• Dr. Yun won the official commendation from The Ministry of Science and ICT (Information and Communications Technology) 

• Dr. Yun was appointed as an Adjunct Professor in the School of Chemical Engineering, Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU)

• Dr. Yun gave an invited talk at the Symposium on Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) Technology for Carbon Neutrality and Beom-Soo Kim did a poster presentation in the 2023 KIChE Fall Meeting.

• Dr. Yun was invited to the 20th Annual Meeting of STS forum and the Young Leaders Program in Kyoto, Japan.

• Dr. Yun's manuscript, "Integrated Process Towards Sustainable Renewable Plastics: Production of 2,5-Furandicarboxylic Acid from Fructose in a Base-free Environment", was accepted in Applied Catalysis A: General (IF:5.5, JCR Top 25.9%).

Sep. 2023

• Dr. Yun won the 2023 Best Researcher Award and the Best Technology Award at KRICT.

• Dr. Yun's manuscript, "Highly Active and Stable Ru-(OH)-based Catalysts Supported on Ni-Manganite for the Base-free Aerobic Oxidation of 5-Hydroxymethyl Furfural to 2,5-Furan Dicarboxylic Acid in a Noble Water–organic Solvent System", was accepted and selected as the outside back cover in Catalysis Science & Technology (IF:5.0, JCR Top 37.9%).

• Marcel's manuscript, "Numerical and Statistical Determinations of the Controlling Factors in Biomass-derived Alcohol Dehydration over La-incorporated γ-Al2O3 Catalysts ", was accepted in Chemical Engineering Journal (IF:16.744, JCR Top 2.8%).

May. 2023

• Marcel Jonathan Hidajat gave an oral presentation and Beom-Soo Kim did a poster presentation at the 19th Korea-Japan Symposium on Catalysis in Seoul, and Marcel won the best oral award. Congrats!

• Dr. Yun was appointed as an Associate Professor in the Department of Advanced Materials and Chemical Engineering at University of Science and Technology (UST)
