the Colorado Consortium on Groups, Loops, 'n' Representations
The Colorado Rocky Mountain Region is home to a vibrant research community studying the often-overlapping areas of group theory, loop and semigroup theory, representation theory, Lie theory, and related areas.
The GNaT workshop is a yearly conference aimed at bringing together researchers in Colorado and beyond for a low-key day of talks directed at anyone vaguely interested in these or related topics.
The first GNaT workshop took place at Colorado State in April, 2023. We anticipate the workshop to rotate between CSU, DU, and CU Boulder until we can't stand it anymore!
This year's conference is organized by Mandi Schaeffer Fry and Petr Vojtěchovský at University of Denver. If you are interested in participating, email Mandi at mandi.schaefferfry(at)du.edu.
Where? Knudson Hall, Room 309, on the University of Denver Campus
When? March 2, 2024
Be there, or be acted on by a dihedral group of size 8!
