A veteran Radio Announcer with a career that spans two decades, Kelly A. Thomas has shared her love of music and rock radio on the airwaves for some twenty years; including two of Colorado Springs most legendary rock stations - KILO and KKFM.
With her unique blend of experience, education, personality, and passion for radio, she currently channels her lifelong love of rock into hosting Gnarly Metal, a live radio show dedicated to the hard rock and heavy metal of the 80's.
Through custom curated playlists and 80's era rock knowledge, she brings listeners on an a fun, informative and entertaining musical journey that keeps the spirit of metal alive and loud, one show at a time.
She is a proud graduate of the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Radio & Television Management and Production from Arizona State University.
